The gal in the office was very nice but we would not stay there again ever...well maybe only if my life depended on it. It is all dirt and weeds, not kept up at all. No clear direction on how the spaces are layed out, very confusing if you come in after dark. Couldn’t get some of the sewer caps off they appeared to be cemented close, some had no caps at all, we had to walk around with a flashlight to find a spot. Just a very sketchy looking place. We should’ve just stayed at a rest stop or the Walmart parking lot but we needed to dump. Our regular place we stay at in Ft. Stockton couldn’t accommodate us and suggested Sagebrush, no one should be recommending this place. It is not handy at all if you’re looking to stay close to I-10. I would not give it any stars but I couldn’t submit this review if I didn’t check any of the stars. Don’t believe any of the other reviews...DO NOT STAY HERE, just awful.

  • Great Easy Overnight Spot (No Worries of it Being Full)

We had planned on overnighting in the Walmart parking lot in Fort Stockton but the freezing temperatures had us looking for a spot with hookups on a Saturday evening. We called all around town and couldn't find a spot until someone recommended Sagebrush. They are a couple of miles outside of town (though easy to get to from 10) and have a HUGE number of sites so you should almost never have to worry about them being full. Plus for $25 a night (which seems typical for this area) it is worth it. We had an easy time pulling in and picking whatever spot we wanted. It can be really windy here and the park is more like a giant dirt parking lot with little room between sites, but for an overnight, we couldn't ask for anything more. Plus the cell signal was decent and we had no trouble staying hitched up in a long pull thru for the night (I think most of the sites were pull thrus).
