We called the day before we arrived, and were informed by a friendly woman that they had space for us. We're big, so if we're unsure, we always call ahead. We pulled in to Arvey and realized pretty quick that there was no way this place had space for us. There were definitely spots that could potentially fit our big butt, but every space was full. Butt-to-butt full. $120/week, FHU, doorstep will be inches away from touching your neighbor's sewage hook-ups. And your neighbor's rig may not actually be mobile anymore. Spots very ramshackle, un-level, and made of mounded/pocked dirt. After speaking with the man in the office, he called his son (we don't speak much Spanish unfortunately), who came over and found a spot that 'could' work for us. Honestly, the management here was really friendly and tried to be helpful - it's more that the park itself just isn't currently able to accommodate people passing through. The son even recommend another RV park that might work (we checked it out - it also wouldn't) around the same price range ($120/week). He let us leave our rig in the drive as we drove down tot check the other place out in the tow vehicle. I wish I could give this place at least a 2 star, based on the management. But the site allocations and general rigs strewn about appearance of the place won't let me. And also that they told us they'd be able to accommodate us when they clearly couldn't. Bummer.
