The staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a rail yard across the highway that can get a little noisy, but it didn’t bother us at night. The same is true with the highway noise which died down considerably at night. We would absolutely stay here again when we pass this way, and recommend to anyone on the road wanting a nice place to stop.

Pick a spot-several were open. We did and began to UN-winterize our rig- because it was too cold to fill or use water at home. Once we got that done it was shower time. Kids headed for the bath houses. They were clean and felt good. One drawback to them was lack of ventilation- it got steamy in them BAD. Then-bed time… with the local highway and rail yard just outside the property were LOUD. We chose a spot near the office- and had EXCELLENT WI-FI… but it was tooooo close to the noise. Three times the trains hooked up and made one HECK of a loud bang. Then- the local Geese flock of 576,986,381 geese flew over the park honking like no tomorrow. Not much sleep was had. The park, staff, hookups, and even its location were all great… the outside noise was difficult. We would absolutely stay again- just further into the park..!!!!
Took the wind out of my sails.

Clean, level, all utilities worked fine. Laundry pricing is reasonable with good working machines. Showers clean and hot water with decent pressure. My problem is with the extremely rude and condescending owners/managers. I thought maybe it was just a one-off but went in again for something and got the same reception and treatment. If you value the park itself over lack of courtesy then it's fine for overnight. I like to feel welcomed when I pull into a place I am giving my business to and with this place that is certainly NOT the case.

Proximity to highway 54 was a double edged sword; it was very easy to find and get in and out of, but there was plenty of traffic noise from trucks coming into town and nearby trains. There was also a neighboring rooster that started crowing at 4:30 am. Over all not a bad place to stay overnight, but it is not the quietest.

Called up en route to Colorado, and found them very helpful and accommodative. We didn’t need electric or full hookups, so they gave us a good rate to back into a tent site.Would definitely stop here again.

He directed us to just pick a spot without a cone and pay in the morning. There was a pamphlet and map at the at the front that showed which spots were open. The site was very level, full hookups and very easily to back in. They also have pull thru sites. There is also plenty of room to boondock if they had been full. We did not use the showers or the laundry.

We stayed here one night in early July traveling from Dallas TX to Alamosa CO. Very clean park with good size level sites. Friendly park management. This RV park is surrounded by farms which was evident by smell the evening we were there ;-). Will certainly stay here again if passing through. www.ourepicfieldtrip.com

Good wifi, except one time when they'd had a bad storm the night before. They usually have a couple empty spots if you arrive late in the afternoon. There is a railroad that goes through town only a block or two away, but it's never blasted horns during the night... you can just feel the vibrations and hear the clatter. Not enough highway traffic at night to make any noise. But Dalhart has a bit of a cattle aroma... so if you wake up thinking someone forgot to put enough water in the RV toilet to seal the black tank... the RV is fine.
