Spent a week here right before Christmas. Rate worked out to about $47 per night for the week ($60 a night for the first 4 nights then half price for the next three). New park with beautifully maintained grounds. Best campground in Crystal Beach for RVers with dogs as they have a HUGE fenced dog park. There are only a couple other parks on the entire Bolivar Peninsula that have a fenced dog area that we found and this is by far the nicest. The entire park is fenced with security gates at entrance and exit, and they have large concrete pads for your RV. Several good restaurants nearby (Jose's, Steve's and B&Dub's were the standouts) and the beach is just a few blocks away. With a $10 permit you can drive/park on the beach. Sites are all back-in but they are well angled with lots of room to maneuver for ease of setup. Our rig is only about 30 ft with the rear bike rack, but there were a couple of big 5th wheels and a large class A RV there as well. (Being the week leading up to Christmas there weren't a lot of campers around at any of the parks.) Synthia the owner/host was very kind and helpful.
