It’s definitely not a “touristy” resort (or location) but it’s nice to have access to the downtown attractions in Corpus Christi, as well as the beaches of Padre Island, Mustang Island, and Port Aransas, all just a short drive away. This park has more permanent or long-term residents than daily, but everyone is friendly and the sites are well-kept.The staff is always friendly and accommodating, in fact on this trip they helped us adjust the dates of our stay at the last minute. We have used the swimming pool on multiple trips. It’s kept clean and never seems to be very crowded. We have not used the showers, restrooms, or laundry facilities.Pros:-The central location allows us to visit the beach and downtown attractions.-Some sites are nicely shaded-The park is well-maintained and clean-Friendly helpful staffCons:-Although the sites are spacious, the one-way interior roads can be tricky and it takes some time to get used to how to get out of the park.-The park is not located in a touristy area, so there aren’t attractions within walking distance.Park Type: Private ResortVibe: RV Park with many permanent residentsFeatures: Central location/Restrooms & Showers/Pets AllowedHook-ups: 30/50 amp service, water, and sewer at all RV sites

The sites and access roads are a little tight but manageable. Very friendly staff. There's a fenced in dog area for the pups. They accept Good Sam so I paid 10% less than the stated $45/night. Personally I think it's a tad pricey for what it is but maybe that's because of the proximity to the beach areas. Bathrooms are nice, they're individual private restrooms that each have their own shower, sink and toilet. All in all it's a decent and clean place to squat for a night or a week.

We picked this park on the fly with no reservations. It's location, while not in the best part of town, wasn't bad either. It's super convenient to Naval Air Station Corpus Christi and has a close-by Walmart. Less than 10 minutes to the East and you're on the beaches of Padre or Mustang Islands. Less than 10 minutes to the West and you're in a major shopping/dining district for the area. I arrived after office hours and there were posted maps with assigned sites taped to the office door, asking that you check-in when the office opened the next morning. My full-hookup, pull-through site was to the back of the park, and was quiet yet convenient to the park entrance/exit. There were bathrooms to the front and rear of the park... I used the ones to the front as there were more to choose from there. The doors were locked with a code lock, the combination to which was not on the paperwork I pulled from the office door. I had to ask my neighbor when we met walking our respective dogs. The toilet/sink/shower rooms were spacious enough to take care of matters. Many of the sites appeared to be occupied by long-term residents. Overall, this is a great location for the area.
