I was looking for a place to stay for a couple of days over New Years that had services... showers, laundry, wi-fi, etc. I had previously reviewed New Adventure and since it was nearby I headed here... it was the right choice. I was greeted by name and with a nice smile, having made reservations a couple of days in advance. The park is only three years old and you can tell the owner/operators take great pride in ownership. The onsite facilities are clean and very accommodating. The showers and coin operated laundry ($1.50 to wash, $.75 to dry) are open 24hrs.I highly recommend New Adventure RV Park for either a short or long stay. The Sam Houston National Forest is nearby and you are only 24 miles from the nearest Walmart in Shepherd TX. I would stay here again without any hesitation.

The state park was closed for repairs and we found the New Adventure RV Park. We stay an extra day because we enjoyed the area and the park. Nice short trail on the property. The owners were great.
