Right on Hwy 71. Lots of road noise. The park is gated, but never closed the two days we were there.Looks like lots of permanent rv’rs.Didn’t use laundry, bathrooms or any buildings.

  • Passport America price. Close to Austin. Gated. Very helpful staff.

We were only going to stay a few days, but an ICE STORM came through, so we extended our stay. The staff was very helpful in letting us stay longer even though the site was booked AND allowed us to pay the weekly rate instead of making us pay for 7 individual days (3 days@$25(PA) + 4 days@$50), which saved us $125! They really helped us out in a crazy weather situation. The park itself was nice too. We were in the front of the park in the short-term area- the rest of the place was full. There is a nice fenced off-leash area for dogs, as well as exercise equipment and a pool (did not use either). There are individual bathrooms that are very nice, clean, and tiled with a nice big open shower, but did not use shower. The park doubles as a self-storage, which is located next door, so there is a LOT of security; coded gates, cameras, and locks on everything. They fill propane tanks, which was super helpful in an ice storm. Our site had 50amp FHUs, okay wifi and 2 bars Verizon LTE.

  • Close(ish) to Austin.

Poor planning on our part meant that the state parks near Austin were full when we wanted to be in that area. While not super close to Austin, it's not too far away either. While not super close to Austin, it's not too far away either. Most of the park is filled with permanent rigs, but there's a section up front for nightly or weekly visits. The part we were in was clean, and the hookups worked as they should.Advertised weekly discount (that was promised on the phone) wasn't actually available upon check-in. The newly opened workout center was pointed out at checkin, but when my wife asked about it, they were reluctant to actually give her a code to use it, stating that monthly sites would be charged extra (even though we were on a weekly rate). We chalked this up to confusion in the office, but it was a bit off putting.
