The campground staff were all so friendly, and accommodating. Access to our site was super easy, and the site was level and nicely maintained. We had a lot of shade, which would be great in the summer. We had full hook ups 50 amp, we paid the monthly rate so we paid our electric at the end and it was very affordable, even though we were running electric heaters constantly to keep warm (cold TX winter in 2022).The amenities were all great! Pool, hot tub, bocce, volleyball, community fire pit, pavilion, workout room, clubhouse room, walking path, clean bath houses, and I am sure there was more that I can't recall. The area of Canyon Lake was also great. Beautiful area, with local shops and restaurants, and walking / hiking round the dam. The Madrone Trail was our favorite. There was a bar a very short walk that had live music every Friday and Saturday night. And easy access to both Austin and San Antonio, probably an hour drive to each.We would 100% stay here again, if we ever find ourselves in this area.

Our kids loved all of the games available, the hammocks, the nature trail, the chickens, and the water feature! The laundry room was extremely clean and well priced too. Wifi was fast and reliable, probably the best we’ve had in our 1.5 years of doing this. It’s really an all around great place to spend your time in the hills, with quick access to new braunfels for stores and what not. We would definitely camp here again!

Mystic Quarry was well updated, quiet, clean, and spacious. Our site was level and roomy. The on-site facilities were clean. The staff was very helpful and even lent us some tools for a minor repair while on site.

Mystic Quarry is the exception to the standard RV resort! Constantly improving the park, great staff, great ownership who live on site, great location in TX Hill Country. Games, events, space between spots, chickens, bee’s, teepees, safari tents...waterfall, trails...just a great location!

This is a cool RV park. Convenient, clean, and the people are extremely nice. Really cool amenities too. We paid for the better WiFi but it was slower than the free one. They tried to make it work better and even said our site “won’t be good WiFi” so we had to hotspot for everything.

  • Extremely nice and quiet with easy access to everything

We are considering making this a yearly destination! The Mystic Quarry decal has a forever home on the back of our RV!

  • Very cool RV park / resort with every amenity you would need.

Great Wi-Fi and only minutes from the Guadalupe for summer tubing (recommend you arrive at 9AM when they open like we did.....3 hours later and it was packed to the brim)....Our girls felt safe roaming the park and everyone was friendly. We already booked our next trip back to Mystic.....FYI -we have stayed at the Jellystone across the street before.....Mystic doesn't cram you in 5 feet from your neighbor....lots of space for our big rig and friendlier staff.
