We needed our levelers to keep us level but loved the spot otherwise. The only issue was the bathrooms did not offer paper towels or a hand blower to dry hands after washing, plus these facilities were very old with creaky old doors and needed a good coat of paint. We decided not to take showers because of the bugs that had free access into the bathroom/shower areas. But with that said we still give them 4 of 5 stars and would return again if we come to the area.

I usually care more about how problems get solved vs not having problems at all. We actually got upgraded to a better site because our original spot was filled. We were escorted to our site which was nice. Small problem with the electric but they were extremely helpful and let us use a 50-30 converter so that worked out too. Easy access to the lake even though we didn’t take advantage of it this time. Swimming, fishing and boating. Public restrooms, showers, playgrounds, horseshoes, volleyball, dog park. There is a building that you can probably rent for large gatherings like a family reunion. We peeked in and there were long tables and a kitchen. My parents live near here. We would definitely stay here again. It worked great for them to come over for lunch.

We came during the pandemic and couldn’t be happier. It’s quiet, peaceful with lots of big trees. The staff if awesome. It’s very clean. Also, it’s right on the lake.

If you like State park appeal you'll love this park. A bit outdated but easy to get in and out of and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. Full hook ups on most of the sites w/ lots of pull through's. Cabins look to be in great condition. There is a fishing dock and cleaning station. Will definitely be back here again.

The lake was within walking distance to all campgrounds. Great place for a weekend away!
