Basically ditto to the comments from everyone else. This a beautifully kept park, great amenities, low price on laundry, and clean facilities. Only downside is it’s a bit far from downtown but we were happy nonetheless. Also as a runner, there are great paved sidewalks around the park to get a run in!

You park your rig on a pebble drive-thru and have an 8-foot wide paved area with a picnic table as well as a 6-foot wide swath of green grass. Many spots also have a tree, though they've got some growing to do. One nice feature is the extra wide asphalt roads. The perimeter of the park is devoted to permanent residents while the interior during our stay was largely travelers. In some RV parks the permanent sites tend to look run down and littered with junk. Not here. The permanent residents, while having their toys such as boats and ATVs, kept their sites in great shape. The whole park looked great. I do believe if you want to put resort in your name, then you do need to have a healthy collection of amenities. That was lacking here and is the reason I give the resort four stars. They do have a clubhouse, pool, and hot spa pool. But there aren't really any outdoor activities such as tennis, bocce, horseshoes, etc. that I could find. They do have a small dog park near the front of the resort and a very nice gravel path that goes around the outside of the park for dogs to use. One complaint is that while there is a laundry room, the machines require quarters but no change machine is provided. You must go to the office to get quarters. If I need to be near Nampa/Caldwell again, the Ambassador would be my first choice.

This RV resort is a short drive off I84 and when you pull through the front gate, you become immediately aware that you are in for a great stay. The park is impeccably maintained. Huge pull-thru sites on level river rock pads. Directly beside the rock pad is a wide concrete patio area followed by another wide grassy area. Tons of room to set-up and relax outside. The pool, hot tub, and steam room are centrally located and are clean and inviting. The office and maintenance staff are top notch. You can even drop your garbage bag at the back of your camper in the morning and they pick it up and dump it for you. If you need propane, they will pick up your tank and bring it back to you. The resort also has the nicest gated dog run area we have ever seen. The WiFi worked great and they have cable. It was an absolute joy to stay here and we went back a second time this summer because we enjoyed it so much! For videos of the resort, visit our YouTube channel: Jeff & Steff’s Excellent Adventure.

We've stumbled into a few places like this over the past couple years and always enjoy even our short stays. Sites are well spaced, grass and gravel with concrete patios and tables. We got the last spot available on really short notice for one night after having trouble with our toad (it turned out to be terminal for the toad :( ) on our drive west from Twin Falls. Concierge service to your site, trash pick up daily on the curb, cable tv, pool, etc, etc. Very reasonable and very nice. Wifi and cell were both good. It's places like this that IMO out compete the KOA's for both price and quality.

First off we were meet at the entrance and escorted to our site where they assisted in getting us pulled in and lined up. This is a nice touch and is not done by all campgrounds. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use the pool area but it looked really nice. The next morning when we were getting ready to go, I found that we had a low tire on the trailer. So I started to work on getting it changed out. I ran into some issues and called the campground and they sent somebody right over to assist me. They brought tools with them that made the job easier and even took my spare and topped it off a bit before I put it on. Truly above and beyond. The site we had was gravel which was fine for just overnight but we generally like concrete or dirt if we are going to be there longer. There were also several long-term residents at this campground. We didn't have any issues but wanted to call it out.

There is good spacing between RV's, with a very generous gravel parking spot and enough room for 2 cars to park side by side. The vehicle step is straight onto a concrete patio/walkway with a nice round bench, then there is a 4-5 ft wide piece of grass that looks in excellent condition considering its a dog magnet! It's close to the freeway with very easy access and multilane parking on arrivals. They guide you into your spot and make sure you are positioned next to the concrete. They have a pool/jacuzzi which we didn't use. The dog park is very nice and they also have a path and grass along the road between the two campground entrances, which is nice. We found the WiFi usable, 8/2 Mbps although it was variable and we have a multi-cellular data setup, so I added it to the mix as a backup.

Very clean park. Liked the hot tub and pool. Added bonus was the dry sauna. Cons: Very dated furniture in the clubhouse. Wi-fi was terrible, couldn't use. We were close to the tower. It is possible to offer good wi-fi in a RV park, with the fees charged they should upgrade to offer usable wi-fi.

Such a clever idea. It was very quiet, we felt extremely safe and we would definitely stay here again when passing through the area.

We have an active dog and he loved the dog park and designated walk areas, but spray for mosquitoes, they were hungry. The facilities were first class and clean clean clean. Now this is a park with a lot of senior campers but that is part of the charm. They don't usually party to the early hours, o we had a good night's sleep. This site is on our list for any time we travel to this area be is highly recommended by us.

They had grills outside, extra tables, chairs, and everything was as close as they could get it to our site. Sure enough, our first full day there, this old couple was outside at sunrise, dragging chairs around, talking at full volume (well before quiet hours were over), slamming doors and bays. Since my wife and I both work from home, we asked if they could keep it down. They acted like they didn't owe us anything, got slightly more quiet for about 5 minutes, and then went back to their usual volume. They literally sat outside all day, from sun up to sun down, making noise most of that time. They hardly left their site, and spent no time inside their travel trailer until night.Since they were unwilling to be quiet, we simply asked the people in the office if we could move to another site. They gave us some spiel about how "being outside is encouraged here" and basically told us the neighbor noise was our problem, and they refused to move us to another site, despite quite a few being open. The neighbor noise actually GOT WORSE as the week went on, and the staff refused to help in any way. For that reason, we will never go back.Furthermore, the rocks they use there are incredibly loud to walk on or drive across, and for that reason, they force you to park very particularly with your steps out over a strip of pavement in between the sites...even if your hookups don't reach from that position!

It was one of the nicest stops we've had in a while - friendly staff and entry escort to our site, making sure our steps lined up over the concrete pad - the little touches. The trailer pads themselves are covered in large river rock - nothing tracks into your rig. The sites are separated by manicured grass strips, and there's plenty of room between rigs.Walks around the park revealed a number of resident rigs, but the long-term residents are required to keep up clean sites, and all skirts are commercial - no plywood or sheet metal skirts. The only park amenity we used was the laundry, and it was spotless and well-maintained.Services are close by, and Highway 26, right outside the park, is a straight shot to downtown Boise.A park similar to this one anywhere else would be a $50 a night park, at least. This is a place we'd definitely stay at again.

The Ambassador Bark Park, an off-leash dog park, was much appreciated by Boonedocker and Piper. The bathrooms are absolutely spotless and each has it's own private shower. Laundry was a super reasonable $1.25 to wash; $1.25 to dry...one of the least expensive we've found. We were not hit by a list of rules when we arrived, and in fact, were given the OK to wash our rig...wow! Trash pick up, curb side. What more could you ask for?? How about the pool at just the right temp and a hot tub after all that work, check! We highly recommend Ambassador RV Resort if you're heading to Caldwell, Idaho, just a short drive from Boise.

In 2015 we used it as a one night stop between Reno & CDA. This year, we used it as a resting place for 11 nights to explore the greater Boise area. I agree with the previous reviews. This is not a campground, but a well-done RV park laid out parking lot style...but it is super Big Rig friendly (think tractor trailers), and though it is great for a quick stopover...this is a great place to stop with kids, and by far the best option in the area. There is a great pool and spa area with ample room for families. There is also a storage bin by the pool with giant bouncy balls that really add a nice touch for children and teens. My kids love tossing them around in the pool. There is also a small fitness room, rec room and lounge that are wonderful for families to use. This park is 25 minutes from downtown Boise, and when you come back after a long day of exploring...these amenities provide a welcome treat for kids of any age. There is also a small playground and smooth pavement to ride bikes. Management is fabulous and the park is exceptionally clean. Not only is this great for exploring Boise and Meridian (much nicer than the parks in those towns), but you are not far from the gorgeous Payette River and Cascade area. The weekly rate is very travel friendly.

All this for extremely reasonable price $34.00 w/Good Sam Discount – believe me you will pay much more for much less at other parks. Be aware this is definitely a Big Rig RV Park ~ not a campground [believe no tents allowed and could not set up our dinning canopy over picnic table] but it can accommodate little rigs like us too. Only a couple of trees sparsely spaced around property most all sites have no shade so hot sun beats down on you ~ you’ll appreciate your awning here.
