We ended up here by accident last year when shopping for a camper. It's a lovely gated community for active people 55+. That doesn't mean that you have to be 55 to rent a spot here (we're 40 something's). This place has 3 heated pools, free Wifi at the club houses, laundry and bath houses, tons of activities and golf carts are the primary mode of transportation within the park. There's also a chipping practice area for the golfers and a fenced dog park. In Brownsville you get the palm trees, plenty of shopping and amenities and you're only 25 minutes to South Padre. Drive over for a day at the beach or just for a seafood dinner.
