Roads and sites are all gravel, with some very lush grass in between sites. Our site, 164, is in the longer site area, but even the shorter sites are 70 feet long. Most sites are 30/50 amp although a few are only 30 amp. All have FHUs and picnic tables. All sites appeared level as well. It is a large full service park with 173 sites. Most sites are pull through - lots of amenities: a pavilion, a pond for catch and release fishing, a walking trail, a dog park, a dog wash area, a laundry, restrooms and showers, a pool and hot tub, a playground, a bocce ball court, a store and a lounge. No cable but there is WiFi that worked until in the evening when the park was full. This is a Good Sam park. We were only here for one night as we traveled west on I-10, but we would stay longer if we were visiting in the Houston area.

Spent 1 nt here , while traveling through . Sites were very close together , with lots of permanent neighbors . Not very well kept . Road noise from I-10 . Good Mexican place up the street Ernesto's. That's about it !

It was easy to pull into the space and hook up( full hook up) easy to get in and out, which was our main concern, since we were passing through to stop and visit family. The place was clean and the pool and bathrooms were very clean, as well as the dog park.Because of the “resident” trailers I can’t give this park a good score as an RV traveler. It’s not a place we would stay to relax because it’s treeless and basically a trailer park, but we would stay because it was clean, fast and level. A drop off spot if you are vacationing.Cell coverage was good but cable did not work at all.Location to the downtown is very far out.... just an FYI. But not far from the interstate. It was less expensive than the ones closer to town.We felt safe and had no issues with that as well as noise. It’s nice and quiet out here with no traffic and quiet people.

Super friendly staff, very clean and nice bathrooms, quiet park. The town of Brookshire isn't large, and so I would suggest grabbing groceries or ant other needs in another spot. Easy access to I10 and Houston.

This was a welcome find on our way back from SE Houston. Lots of long term residents and packed a little tight, but plenty of room to get around. Nice new amenities and everything is very clean. Staff is super friendly. They have a nice hot tub!

  • Decent park near where we needed to be.

The park is very close to I-10, but because it is up on a hill most of the highway noise is muffled unless you're in the first couple rows closest to the highway. Although the sites were small and the park was completely full, everything was fairly clean and tidy. We didn't use any of the amenities, so can't comment on those. There are some grassy areas and a pond which we walked around with our dogs a few times (dogs are not permitted in the pond). We'd consider staying here again, but would first try to find someplace else nearby with larger sites.
