This is a nice little campground that is host to many longer-term campers but they had a spot for me during a whirlwind, emergency trip over the Memorial Day weekend. I made a reservation request online and got a confirmation within a couple of hours. I arrived around 4pm and the office was closed (expected) but a phone call had the owners greet me within a few minutes. They couldn’t be nicer folks. We got the bill taken care of and chatted for a few minutes and then they helped me park. There aren’t a lot of pull through sites in the park but I was lucky to get one. Standard hook-ups including 50 amp. I used the laundry facilities, 3 washers and 3 driers and it’s open 24 hours. I don’t think they have restrooms. It is fairly close to a major road and there is some road noise but it quiets down at night. There is also a train. I heard it twice, maybe three times during my day and half stay. The appeal of the park is the trees, but that’s always a double-edged sword. You have to pay attention to what you’re driving but I didn’t encounter any that needed trimming. They have daily, weekly and monthly rates.
