All sites are nice but Site 118 is outstanding!!! Great staff and facilities. If you own an RV Strongly recommend the campground and school. I was only here for a week long class but learned a ton. I am a much better and safer RV traveler. Yep, the campground is great!!!
Must stay if attending NRVTA school

The bathrooms and showers were incredibly clean as was the washer and dryers. A total separate one for dog bedding only! The pads are gravel but quite level. Each space has a small grassy area with a wooden picnic table. Small street lights to give some light at night. While we were there, they were busy making even further improvements, adding a cafe. Don at the front office was extremely helpful each time I called and very kind and so jovial. One evening on our walk, we had the pleasure of talking with the husband/wife team who manages the park. Once again very kind and willing to answer all our questions about the park and the RV school attached to the park. Probably the only draw back was the tiny nats and mosquitoes, but that comes with camping.
Great friends were made.

I attended some of the NRVTA training which is on site and enjoyed the training. However, the NRVTA just got accredited and changes are being made. No more long stays and the prices are going up. They are building more sites and also have numerous cabins to rent. Their shower/laundry facility is very clean. The down side to this park is that it sits on 37 acres and the only have 4 showers, 4 washers and 4 dryers. They need another facility in the "back" area for those guests. Also no kids play area.
Beautiful and serene with wonderful people away from the city

We has plenty of room to park and nice space between sites. Very quiet park. Appreciated being close to the bathhouse and club house. So nice to meet up with others in the clubhouse or outside around the firepit. Even enjoyed a super bowl pot luck in the clubhouse organized by John and Vicki one of the many workcamper couples living there. Everyone is very nice and extremely helpful. The office is great with reservations, which we changed a couple times, holding packages for you and being available to refill propane tanks. The bathrooms were always clean, with plenty of hot water for showers. Laundry facilities were nice to have with plenty of coin operated washers and dryers. Even a change machine on the wall. The sites in the far back seemed to get much less wind, but are furthest from the bathhouse and laundry. From what we could tell, many sites are not level. We had to manually level our coach with large wood boards on just the passenger side in site 120. Not a big deal, but good to know. We camped at Texan RV Park in a Motorhome.
