The concrete pad was level, new and very long and plenty wide. However, we were unaware when booking that there was no bathhouse or showers. We rarely shower in our camper so this was a bit of a shock to us. Additionally, we had to call to get the wifi password, as weren't given any information at "check-in". There was a laundry building but we didn't visit it. Overall, the site quality was good, but the overall RV park experience was blah.

The sites were ok and it was quiet so we had fun hanging out. The city park next door was a big plus for walks. Rebecca was taking care of the park in the owners absence and she did a great job and was very friendly. They have a nice laundry facility and what looks like a new pool. My recommendation to help improve the place a bit would be to put in fire pits and sell fire wood and maybe picnic tables. The daily rate was 35 but we got the passport America rate for the first 3 days and paid 17.50. Had a great time so that is what it is all about.

Garmin had us turn down a closed road. Luckily there was a church parking lot where we were able to turn around with our 32' 5th wheel. Sites were paved and back in was easy. The spaces were a comfortable distance apart. Full hookups, laundry room (3 washers/3 dryers), and a pool. We stayed over Thanksgiving for 3 nights. Passport America discount. Fort Anahuac Park next door had some interesting historic markers and a playground. The park also had a fishing dock and boat ramp. Our site was close to the street so street noise was a little loud, but it was the site we chose ourselves.

Large concrete pads. Back in only but easy. Owner told us just to leave money in drop box. We used Passport America. Next to county park.
