This location is about a mile and a half from the Cadillac Ranch. It is a very clean and quiet campground. Our family enjoyed the pool, playground, and the game room. They have food options, although we didn’t take advantage. WiFi is decent, not great. Good cell coverage with AT&T. We will definitely stop back on our route home!

Easy access to the highway and a Love's Truck stop. Wide sites and wide interior roads. Neighbors aren't too close. On the edge of town, but still close to shopping. Exposed to the weather but the cleanest of the park and because the whole park is either cement, asphalt, or gravel there is no dirt to fly around, which was nice. If the park loses power (which it did during a snow storm) it also loses water (FYI). Cleanest and nicest park in Amarillo.

Quiet. I'm sure most people were there for long-term stays. By morning the water was working although pressure was extremely weak. --Hard to tell if that was the norm. Very easy access off of I-40 on the west side of town, which was perfect for us.

We stayed when it was very cold and never used water or sewer because we didn’t have insulation for the trailer hose. Was not a problem since we were only there for one night. Some sites had heat tape on the spigots. Spouse used one of the shower rooms and said there was no hot water in the sink and the room he was in was not heated. (Yikes - it was 20 degrees out!) Easy off I-40, close to Cadillac Ranch if you are so inclined. Resort has lots of bells and whistles including big activity rooms. There are also cottages on the outside fence line. There is a little convenience store in the office. The Oasis RV Resort website has a downloadable map of the park.

Normally when I encounter this, I simply dump when I can position the fifth wheel more conveniently - usually just before vacating the site. A very unusual set of circumstances prevented this. Internet was generally okay for basic use, but slow enough that I never bothered to try to stream during our weekend visit. In this day & age, I expect a top rated park to offer streamable internet, even if it costs to upgrade to it. (At 7:30pm Saturday I can’t even get this website to open!) Our site was level, but many offered level concrete pads with sloping asphalt entrances & exits. The park handout offers a great looking menu at great prices, but it was closed during our visit.

This is a very nice fully paved, easy access park with top notch amenities. The lighted pedestal was perfectly placed and the spaces are roomy. The southwest wind brought in an aroma of cattle, but not too offensive. Very close to Cadillac Ranch which is a required destination in Amarillo.

All pull through, level, clean sites. Close to highway and to a large Love’s station for refueling. Clean and well maintained. Has a pool, but we didn’t have a chance to check it out. Only downside is a complete lack of shade. No trees, but not surprising for Amarillo.

The campground was clean, quiet, and in good condition. The mosquitoes, however, were bonkers, which I understand is probably outside of the control of the campground. I arrived after hours, and left early in the morning, so I didn't interact with the staff at all. Our reservation was posted on the door so we could locate our site, which was easy to find and park at. The orientation of our camper's slide and the location of the power pedestal put us too far away for our 20ft of sewer hose to reach the connection, which was a bit of a bummer, but another inconvenience that isn't really the campground's fault. The wi-fi was terribly slow, the cellular data speeds on my phone were many times faster. Overall, this is a good place to spend the night, but I wouldn't want to stay for longer periods of time due to the campsite's orientation and slow internet connection speeds that would prevent working from the road.

Checkin was quick, had a decent & level site, great WIFI connectivity, and all was well. No complaints, just kudos. Loved the combo restrooms with showers. So stopped on our return trip a month later and had a less positive stay. You could say we had a bit of a BB King experience: “The thrill is gone.” First thing we noted 2nd time through was the prevailing smell of sewer gas throughout the park. Didn’t even get set up and it was on the wind & very noticeable pretty much everywhere. Not sure why. There was a stiff breeze blowing — 10-20 mph — but if people set up their waste lines & sealed them properly there shouldn’t have been any odor. But it smelled like enough people were just dumping their hoses into open pipes to make the odor permeate the camp. The smell was very noticeable — and not pleasant. The second thing we noticed was the cable didn’t work. What channels we could get over-the-air were like a snow storm we once experienced in Nunavut — total white out! We finally gave up and used our onboard wifi and watched some Amazon Prime. Item #3 on our disappointment list was the camp WIFI. We were unable to connect & the login kept telling us the camp provided password was wrong. It wasn’t. Other folks we talked to around our site said they couldn’t connect either. One fellow said he had to walk over to the Oasis office before he could get any of his devices to connect. Sounds like poor signal & possibly the system needed a router reboot, but any CG that offers & advertises WIFI needs to provide it to get a better rating in our book. That may require an upgrade, better maintenance & monitoring, or adding signal boosters or repeaters — whatever it takes. It’s 2021 & we have the technology readily available for a small investment to keep campers connected (and happy). We work remotely & so do many others, so believe CGs need to ante up and install whatever’s needed to provide this service. The days of dial-up are over.

The pool and hot tub factilies are outstanding. Unless you have a wifi booster system, the park wifi probably won't be of much use to you. When we used our wifi boosters and connected 5 Mhz service, it was decent. Using a mobile router for cell service data transfer resulted in download speeds in excess of 20 Mbps and uploads of over 25 using ATT towers with an unlimited, unthrottled plan. This is a good park for an overnight or extended stay.

The person that said the spaces were tight - so not true. These are big spacious concrete spots. Picnic tables. Showers and laundry close to each spot. The staff is so friendly and helpful and wonderful. They make hamburgers and pizza , they are delish! Especially when you are exhausted. Only slight negative is the fitness room is pretty inadequate. If you throw in a few hand weights and an exercise ball and it would be alright. There is an elliptical, treadmill, universal machine, and a couple of dumbbells. Spend $50 and make it acceptable ......Thanks for a great stay....

They emailed me our confirmation with our lot # and WiFi password. We pulled in on a very windy night and quickly setup while the kids used the clean bathrooms and played on the playground. We got up early to head out and stopped by the office to pay for our space and were pleasantly surprised to be told that the first night was free to active duty service members. I only wish we could have stayed longer. But we will remember this place the next time we are passing through Texas.

I am not sure what reviewers who gave it less than five stars were seeing. The sites are huge, concrete pads with blacktop areas at each end and for the vehicle. Large concrete area with picnic table. The sites are NOT tight at all. Roads are wide so easy to navigate for any size unit. Pulling into the site and parking are so easy with the huge area. The park was very neat and the office personal were very pleasant. WiFi was good. There is cable TV available. No satellite issues with trees. The park makes pizza, wings, and hamburgers Monday thru Saturday. Even though the highway was close, there was no noise. We would most definitely stay here again.

Just off of the highway, but didn’t notice much noise. They don’t allow campfires or charcoal, I’ve noticed most private campgrounds are starting to go to this. Stayed one night on our way through. Really close to Cadillac Ranch, RT 66 attraction. Take some spray paint and go paint a car stuck in the ground!

You really can't beat the price either.Sites are level, navigation is easy with roads in good condition and everything newer. Strong 50 amp FHU with cable. Most of the water spigots are heated with heat tape. Bathrooms are individual rooms with showers and everything was clean. The office is appealing and they have a small store for supplies. The location is very easy off the interstate but the hwy noise didn't bother us. It's very convenient to Amarillo shopping and activities.Cell service was solid. Data speeds were ATT 17d/15u, Verizon 7d/4u both unboosted. I didn't try their wifi nor did I try T mobile. They have propane onsite Mon-Sat and it was placed in an easy to get to location. They have food available for order/pickup at the office. We got pizza and wings and it was surprisingly good and a nice perk to offer. They have a medium sized dog park and plenty of walking areas for the dogs. All of the longer term residents were in good condition rigs with very clean sites so there was no feeling of dumpiness whatsoever. The staff was extremely nice and gave great customer service. I wanted to leave early due to weather and even though I had paid already, they gladly refunded me for the dates I left early. Their customer service pushed them to 5 stars in my book.

Be aware of highway and service road construction all through the city.In the 2 years since our visit in 2015, we noticed that it's not the same RV 'Resort' we experienced prior. It needs work. 3 out of the 4 bath stalls in the closest bath house to us were out of order. We came here primarily for the pool and hot tub; BOTH of which were closed due to malfunction and maintenance. The friendly front desk clerk DID offer us a pizza to comp us but since we already had our meal outings planned, that wasn't going to work. The roads are falling to disrepair with broken asphalt and cracks.Be aware this is not a 'quiet' park. Lots of noise and mass exodus of RV's about 8am-10am.The park is all pull-throughs except for the outer sites which are all back-in and looked to be for long-term residents or full-timers working there. We noticed that there was a nice playground in the back corner near the pool. We also noticed each site has nice new picnic tables however they are not mobile; they are attached to the concrete so plan your entrance door accordingly. It would be nice if this 'resort' offered discount coupons for area restaurants. We would stop here again for 1 overnight.SPECIAL NOTES:NOT the fault of the Resort but worth alerting fellow RVers that Cadillac Ranch has become an eye sore dump. There were empty spray cans and lids everywhere. Visitors spraypainted the Farmer's hay bales abutting the property (disrespectful). If this is supposed to be deemed a 'tourist spot', the city needs to deliver a good many loads of gravel. The cars were sitting in 6" of water so no visitors at the time could make their mark or see it up close. The parking area outside the gate was utterly disgusting with trash; like people cleaned out their cars of clothes, old shoes, bottles, cans, etc. The dumpster was half full though. Also, the service wait staff at the Big Texan needs some serious training. I could list the many things that went wrong with our visit there but I won't bore you. One big thing is if you are going for the brewery experience, be aware that they serve the beer flights in PLASTIC glasses. So not cool! Just be aware. They do have a cool gift shop though.

The people at the front office are helpful and friendly. The park has all the amenities you'd expect from a large facility like this one - 189 spaces - laundry, wifi, cable tv, pet friendly, kid's play area, propane, pool. Most of the sites are pull-through, and are level and spacious. Hookups are in great condition - water pressure is strong, the power connectors and cable are easy to get to, and the sewer is close by. There are a number of long-term residents in the park, but nothing run-down or shabby-looking. The park is extremely quiet at nightThe park is ten years old, but kept in top shape. Situated just down the frontage road from Cadillac Ranch, access to the park is easy from I-40 at exit 60.Only fluke I found was that the cable system had no local channels - we had to switch back to over-the-air for local weather information. Not a deal-breaker for either of us, to be sure.

This is a well-run park with large level spots, just west of Amarillo. The staff was among the friendliest we have encountered anywhere. Everything is clean and well-cared for. It seems like most of the spots are permanent residents. This is on the nice side of the "KOA-style" parking lot type parks. Worth the stop.
