Easy in and out, big pull through sites, indoor pool. Very clean restrooms. Staff is friendly. Will definitely stay again. We have a 43’ fifth whee and had plenty of room in our site.

Great place for a layover while headed west. Staff is friendly, campground is very clean, and while the sites are gravel and simple, they’re spaced such that you’re not on top of your neighbor. Great spot for a stop!

We only booked one night as we are passing through and wanted to do the Big Texan Steakhouse. Bog, clean park. Staff is very nice. They offer a convenient van service to the Big Texan Steakhouse about a mile down the road. A little road noise from I 40 but that never bothers us.

Nice large RV resort right off I-40. Has a heated pool, hot tub and sauna. Bathrooms are older but clean as is the entire campground. Best of all our their employees. Welcoming and friendly. Have dog park with 4 separate dog areas. Only con would be depending your site you could have highway noise.

He was very friendly. The woman at the front desk was the same one I spoke with over the phone. She was very pleasant and she made us feel welcomed. We scheduled a limo ride for dinner while we were there. The young man led us to our site and even ended up cutting some branches from the tree at the site because it looked like they would scratch our slide out. I didn’t see any grass. Most of it was dead, (maybe they, Texas, are having a drought?) but since I’m we are only here for one night it wasn’t a deal breaker. The office, pool area and public restrooms/showers and laundry room all looked clean. There are dog parks, but I can not advise about them since we don’t have a dog with us so we didn’t use them.

There are a row of older cars (Cadillacs?) with the notorious cattle horns mounted on the front grill. The cars are limousines that will ferry customers to and from the restaurant. But the staff is friendly and efficient; the wifi and cell service are decent; the bathhouse is clean. I marked down the site quality because the sites don't have any clear markings. We've stayed here when it was very crowded, and our neighbors seemed to be parked any which way.

It’s a good shuttle to and from the restaurant. Get to the restaurant by 4:00 to avoid an hour wait. The staff at the RV park was amazing and super nice. They treated us as good if not better than anywhere we’ve stayed. The indoor heated pool was a great amenity!

The free limo to the restaurant was a fun experience for the kids. The food was absolutely terrible, but it's one of those "experiences" you go to do because of the novelty. I'm sure others will complain about the noise from the highway, but with AC running all night/day that curbs the noise and its quite necessary even when we were there in mid April. Roads are nice and wide and no issues maneuvering 42 ft fifth wheel and long bed crew cab F-350. Site P2 gave plenty of room for the truck and trailer.Good Verizon coverage. 5G with 57 down/17 up.

Our site had plenty of room for both our 38 foot 5th wheel and our truck. We were escorted to our site by an employee. Restrooms, a heated indoor pool, hot tub, showers, restrooms, laundry, playground, pet area, pavilion, clubhouse, cable, and WiFi are all included in the cost, but we did notice the WiFi got very weak once more people came into the park in the late afternoon. Both ATT and Verizon cell phones had good service. Good Sam discount can be used. We would stay here again.

There has to be 200+ sites here and then there is how clean and well maintained this park is by the staff members. We arrived shortly after 3p and were quickly greeted and checked in. They provide you with an escort to your site who assists with getting you parked (not set up). Although there were may RV’s already on site the traffic really started after 4-5 pm. We dinned at the Big Texan Ranch Steakhouse. There is a complimentary limo (a real limo not a bus) ride that picks you up at your site at your requested dinner time. Our drivers were very pleasant and conversational. The food was impressive. I went back and forth trying to decide between the Chicken Fried Steak or the Catfish, I went with the catfish and was extremely pleased with my selection. My husband opted for ribs, brisket, and sausage platter. Our appetizer was the rib sampler (it’s Texas, I had to try a rib) baby backs. The bbq sauce was as good as FD’s. Our sever was a young lady named Joselyn who was prompt and attentive to our needs while also providing great service to many other diners. Like the RV Ranch the steakhouse is huge. It remind me of a saloon from Gunsmoke, but much larger. We did not use the facilities, but we did walk around the park the next morning before our rollout. The sites seemed level and are built on gravel. The P Lot is where larger coach’s and fifth wheels are parked, but fills up quickly. There are some really nice rockers near the dog run (I believe there are two dog runs). Insects were not an issue here, was able to sit outside and enjoy the evening sunset. Would definitely return to this location.

We were driving our new RV from Alvarado, TX to Albuquerque, NM and stopped in Amarillo for the night. After 6 hours of my first RV trip, I was really ready to rest! We arrived a little after 7, so they had called me mid-afternoon to confirm we were coming and gave us instructions for after-hours checkin. We found our spot immediately (they had left us a map with our spot circled and arrows to guide us...low tech but simple). Settled in. Power was great. All other hook-ups a breeze. The next morning, we had a chance to look around. I doubt any RV parks are glorious to look at, but I appreciated that they had curved streets, so it didn't just look like row after row of RVs, but like a little neighborhood. Plenty of dumpsters around to get rid of trash. A nice "club house" with necessities as well as gift items. Friendly staff. The restrooms were a bit stark...but serviceable. The bar is now pretty high for RV parks of the future for us. (By the way, we had never eaten at The Big Texan even after years of driving past it. We decided to celebrate there. Call them and they will send a limo over to the RV park to transport you! That was fun, and frankly, since we didn't have a tow car...a big cost savings over Uber.)

We stayed one night in October. The campground is basically a parking lot. That night it was crowded, and we were packed in with our neighbors. Because it was raining and crowded and the lots were gravel, the bathhouse was dirty. We've stayed here before, but we're a little more hesitant to say we'd be back.

We've stayed at this park twice before and appreciated it's conveniences. This time the park was crowded, and we were packed in haphazardly. That really didn't matter all that much as we tend to view RV parks as a better alternative to motel rooms. However, this time the bathhouse needed cleaning and maybe a little updating.

As other campers arrived I noticed he was even helping people with their connections/hookups etc. They have very good wifi....The Big Texan Steak Ranch and Brewery provides FREE limo service from your site, to the restraint, and back. I recommend it. You can make your limo reservation at the RV park office. They deliver your limo ticket right to your site/camper. My limo was right on time. It was just a fun experience, and a great end to a day of driving in windy conditions. After dinner, I was brought back to my site....This place is close to I40, and you can hear traffic all night. It didn't really bother me, but I was aware of it. Just something to consider. I have a splitter I use when I tie into water at camp sites in case I want or need to use the water facet outside. For some reason the people in the site next to me taped into my splitter rather than their water facet. I had to depart early, and had no choice but to disconnect them before they were up and about. They didn't have a pressure regulator (perhaps why they tied into mine?), so I just hooked them to their faucet and left it off...The last paragraph has nothing to do with this RV Park. But a word of caution to anyone reading. Please hook into your own faucet. I feel bad they'll wake up with no water and wonder why... But what else could I do?

This is our first big trip in our fifth wheel so I made sure to line up pull-throughs at each of the parks. I booked a pull-through online, but was then told upon check-in that we needed to back in to a site because the pull-throughs were for overnight guests only and we would be taking up on of those spots. That is fine, and not atypical, but there was nothing on the website about this. Even the attendant agreed, but said "you should have called." If you are going to have an online booking system, you should make sure that all of the information is listed there; otherwise, it should be a by-phone only system. I am not inflexible, but I did not appreciate being made to feel as if I did something wrong. In the end, she relented and put us in a pull-through. Everything else about the park was satisfactory and we had a comfortable stay. The pull-through spots are laid out very strangely, but they do escort to your site. We appreciated the three grass fenced in off-leash dog areas as well as a large grassy field next to these for pet use. We did not use the restrooms or showers; laundry $2.50 per wash so we did not use it. Wifi was very strong as we had a tower next to our site, but another camper said the signal was poor at her site.

There are curbs and cul-de-sacs and the RV sites are in between the roads. The sites are either VERY long pull-throughs or two spacious back-ins. Because of the weird layout, it looked like RVs just sort of randomly parked here and there. Part of that, I'm sure, is that we were there so early in the year and the park wasn't overly busy. All the hookups worked great and our site was level. It's mostly all gravel around, though. A little grass here and there but it was all dead/dormant while we were there.Three fenced dog areas with the largest being roomy enough to toss the ball for our pup. Always appreciate a fenced dog area.Laundry was expensive. Showers were hot, spacious, and with good pressure. They have a heated pool and hot tub. We didn't try the pool but did go to the hot tub. It's one of those residential type hot tubs you can buy. Kinda small and not really hot enough for my liking. But at least it was an option. The staff here was extremely friendly and helpful! Honestly the best staff we've encountered.Overall, we enjoyed our time here. The free donuts each morning were a nice touch. :D

Overall, it's a nice park. We normally stay at Overnight RV on the other side of town. It's no frills (at all). We thought we'd try this one for something different. Here, there's less shade, more traffic and noisier at night. We'll save the $8 and go back to our usual spot next time. I should also mention there's construction happening in the area which makes it a pain to get around with a big rig.

We arrived mid afternoon and was greeted with a friendly welcome by Janet followed by an easy check-in. Was escorted to our site by Rickey, who got us situated like a pro, but then I guess he is. We checked out the indoor pool & hot tub. Both were nice & warm & good sized. The big pull thru sites were all gravel, which is ok because Amarillo is in a drought so the grass would have been the same color anyway. Power was good & Rickey was sure and warned us to use a regulator as water pressure is 80psi. Sometimes amenities make a place but in this case its Lori, Rickey, Janet and all the staff that make it one step better. So stop in for the donuts and coffee, stay a few days and explore Amarillo.

We stopped for just one night while traveling west and set up in a large pull-through site. All of the sites appeared to be neatly maintained and level, and some had more shade than ours. The showers were the largest I've ever seen, and each shower had a big room to itself. They were spotless. As mentioned, the amenities made this place special. In the morning, coffee and donuts are free in the office. They even offer real half-and-half for the coffee, which is a luxury with free coffee. Our sons enjoyed the donuts, which were delicious bakery donuts. The office also has several tables, DVD rentals, and some games. One amenity we didn't get to use was the pool. We arrived after hours and didn't have time to play the morning we were checking out. The large indoor pool looked clean and wonderful, though. The office staff was also very friendly. The Amarillo Ranch is located close to some neat places in Amarillo. From the RV park, you can walk to a little waterpark, and about 20 minutes up the road is the infamous Cadillac Ranch, which is a fun place to turn the kids loose to spray paint some cars.Amarillo Ranch is conveniently located near restaurants and groceries stores, but most importantly, it's a quick stop off of I-40, if you're looking for a place to hop off of the interstate. I probably wouldn't want to stay here for a long vacation since we prefer campgrounds with more natural settings, but for a reasonably-priced, clean place to spend the night, this is a great stopover.
