The host was very helpful and nice. The pull through site was easy to get into. The utilities are a bit far but not a huge problem. Some road noise but again, not terrible. Having full hookups made it worth it! We would definitely stop here again!

Bare bones at it’s best. FYI - No facilities at all if you’re tent camping you need to know there’s not even a bathroom. My daughter was not happy seeing all the puppies in questionable living conditions at the house in the front of the property. First come first serve and pretty much honor system via cash or check in envelope. Loved the sound of the airplanes going over and no traffic noise. The camp is super quiet too. The people next to us left this morning and another trailer took its place and we never heard them. Someone mentioned an adult club nearby. There is one a few miles back towards Amarillo but nothing near camp. There also some steers, with huge horns, a llama and some adorable donkeys. We actually were only going to stay one day but decided to stay another just to relax from driving from CA. We went to the Amarillo Zoo and the Botanical Garden. I gilt recommend going. It’s just a little zoo but there are lions, tigers, and bears. The gardens were beautiful! We wanted to go to the RV museum but the moved from the address listed on Yelp but it was kinda far out and we had some other things to do. Oh that reminds me, I gotta go drop another check in the envelope. We use Spectrum for our wireless and it worked just fine.

Dogs barked constantly day/night. And your right in the flight path to the International Airport with jets coming in hot at 3,000 feet above you. Power is decent (using 30 A for our TT), sweet and fresh water (though I’m using the fresh water only for showering given it has a “taste” to it I’m not fond of). The $14 rate requires a Passport America membership. Otherwise $28 per night.

No one was working in the office, either. You just pull in, find a spot, and set up, paying at the office door with the envelopes provided. There was a camper with a riding lawnmower, so I imagine they were the on-site campground hosts. But in our experience of a short, two-night stay, the residents kept to themselves and we camped hassle free. Despite the lacking presence of any sort of "authority," the park was very quiet through the weekend. When pulling in on a Thursday around 11a, we were able to pick from roughly ten available spots.As an older review mentions, our site was not level, creating a 3º lean, requiring us to drive up on boards. But the water and electric pedestals worked just fine. The sites were long and all pull-through, so very easy to navigate. This park will be amazing in a few years when the tree saplings grow up to full height. In the meantime, if you're camping there in the summer, make sure your A/C works because there's really no reprieve from the sun and the constant (and I mean constant) 10ish mph winds keep one from extending an awning.

Not sure if the office is ever open but have exact change or a check to pay. I didn’t’ but some nice folks made change for me. Less than 100 yards from I40 but noise wasn’t an issue. The downside was the WiFi password would not let me connect as the signal kept dropping and I had no service for T-Mobile. All in all $14 Passport America price for full hookup is a great deal.

Kids like the nearby animals. Park fills in by 3pm, so come early. Bring earplugs if freeway or airport noise bothers you. On our most recent stay, I thought I was out of luck for a space but was circling around again just to be sure when a red truck appeared. A man (later identified by a resident as the “big boss”) with a gravelly voice asked how I was doing and told me to stay put while he got me a site...then returned and guided us into a space I had overlooked (#40) before disappearing down the road. So thankful!! Site quality marked down for being unlevel (3 inches L/R).

No frills. Full hookups for $14. Level. Jets overhead coming in for landing at nearby airport are pretty loud. Freeway noise is pretty loud. Jets seemed to stop after midnight. When you are weary and need to stop, this is acceptable for the price.

Convenient, everything worked, FHU for $14/ night. Some noise from the highway, if the wind is out of the northwest aircraft fly overhead but not constant. Very quiet and only issue is getting someone on the phone who can decipher the password for the internet. :)

Great Over Night Spot with FHU for $13.50, there's no bathrooms, showers, laundry or swimming pools but your not paying for them, we are 38' with 4-Door Jeep JK and had no problems maneuvering the RV camp or site, we are boondocking animals and love this camp for the price and will stay agian.
