This was a great place to stay when other campground were already booked as Cove Mountain was in pre-launch and had spaces. The location is good, a short drive to Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountain hikes. Roads and sites are gravel. 50A FHU. There is a small stream on 2 sides. Nice country area. There are few facilities here, which we don’t mind because we are self contained and not looking for pools. If it is raining choose a site more towards the road as the park slopes gently downhill away from the road. We were on the downhill side and it rained several time and was a bit soggy. We only had AT&T for data, but it was stable. T-Mobile was roaming in AT&T and not as good. Also my T-Mobile data sim would not roam on AT&T.With a big rig only approach from the Pigeon Forge side as the roads are challenging from the other approach.
