We planned a last-minute trip to the Smoky Mountains and most campgrounds were booked due to the holidays (Christmas & New Year) and found this Birds Creek and liked the location. We were going to 6 days but due to a snow storm and mechanical issues with our motorhome, we stayed 8 days. This is a smaller campground with a lot of the spots being used by long-term campers. They are in the process of adding more spots. PROS: Location, close to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge.Free Laundry (Didn't get to use due to losing power due to a snowstorm the 6th day we were there.Friendly accommodating staff.Quite.Full Hookups.Little Creek runs through the edge of the campground.Free Wifi, was able to stream movies and youtube. CONS:The gravel parking pad was narrow (between power pedestal and slab), not bad, just pay attention that you can open any storage bay doors. No onsite dumpster, have to take the trash down the road about 1/2 to a public facility.Would stay again.
