There is a good queuing area at checkin, and roads/sites were planned with big rigs in mind. Campers have always been respectful and responsible, pick up after their dogs. Creekfire draws a better type of camper. We never had any complaints until now. They charged us 10.00 a night per pet! Let’s just say what it is; 40 dollars of additional profits/greed for our two night stay. If they charge 10 a night for kids too , we will come back.

Each site is a cement pad and level. The connections are easy to make. You don't have to disconnect your tow as there is plenty of space in the pull thru sites. They have three pools and a lazy river which we took advantage of after getting all sweaty hooking up.They have trivia nights on Tuesdays and later in the week, they have a bar & restaurant. Unfortunately, we stayed on a Monday night so couldn't take advantage of these. A couple of reasons for a 4 vs 5 star. When we got there, we were told that we reserved a site that couldn't handle our Class A MH. Well, the site only allows you to select a type of site, not a specific location. I thought I entered all my MH information correctly, but perhaps not. So their website needs some improvements. Another annoying aspect of their website is that you keep getting pop ups that say someone just reserved as if that is going to make us want to stay more. It would be nice if the bar/rest were open more nights. Perhaps this was a result of short staff during Covid. There were definitely enough people staying there to justify from a business standpoint. One final point is that they have two sections. There is a back section that is close to a lake. So if you want more privacy (a few sites back right up to the lake), try to score a spot there. Although I'm not quite sure how you do this. Perhaps when you call, they can reserve one of those spaces?

Connectivity: AT&T was 4 bars and great upload and download speeds and 50+ OTA TV channels. This park is a destination park as it has a swimming pool, a lazy river, splash pad playground, a hiking trail and so much more! We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious! We stayed for 4 nights, but wish we could have stayed longer! It is a perfect park to explore downtown Savannah or Tybee Island. We would definitely stay again!

Propane tanks are picked up and taken to be filled and returned as well as food or beverages ordered that can be delivered to your site. Would have given five star rating but concrete pull through sites not level and sewer connections require extensions to reach; surprised a new park not appearing to have been engineered by an RV knowledgeable person(s). Very close to excellent dining by the Interstate. I would stay here again. Very good Wi-Fi signal from park but actual Internet was not very good, did speed test and found to be 5.88 Mbps download. Verizon very bad which was surprising being so close to the Interstate.

Here are our observations...The roads within the park and access to all sites are very easy and wide. There are gravel and paved sites to chose from. Whether you choose gravel or paved, the area outside your RV door (alongside the RV pad) is gravel or grass with just one small square of concrete where the picnic table is located. I found it odd that they paved some very long sites, but didn't expand the concrete for the outside living space. We are glad we chose gravel since the outside living area is the same as a paved site. We don't much care what type of material is under the RV, we care about what is in the living area outside of the RV door. All sites seem to be very easy to level. Hook-ups are in good location. There are two section of this RV Park. Be aware that the Lake Loop is quite a distance to the pool/activity area. So if you have kids, I would recommend not choosing the Lake Loop. However, it does have nice views of the lake, is very quiet and close to the new restaurant. There are few trees, but I do appreciate the bushes that have been planted between most sites. These will be lovely when they are filled in. The general landscaping of the park is very nice. They do a good job of keeping maintenance facilities clean and neat. All staff in the office is very friendly and escort to site was as well. The pool area facilities are the highlight of this park. The large main pool and hot tub are very nice and heated. HOWEVER...be aware that the new (and very cool) kiddie pool and lazy river are NOT heated!!! I have no idea why they made this decision. That basically limits use of these during the warm weather months only. They have opened the new restaurant and we enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner here. We had pretty low expectations of what the meal would be like and they knocked it out of the park with the Thanksgiving meal! Our food was outstanding and it was very reasonably priced. The ambiance at the restaurant is outstanding and very clean. They have a platform over the lake in front of the restaurant where they sometimes have live entertainment which we enjoyed one warm evening. Our only complaint is that the restaurant is closed Sunday-Tuesday. Why would you close on a week-end day?The restroom/shower facilities are individual spaces which we liked. I decided to take a long hot shower in the facility one evening and found the restroom/shower to be dirty. The floor is textured and it looks like no one has scrubbed it for some time. They have rubber baseboard along the floor and it was halfway hanging off. The shower itself was also dirty. There is a small gym here that had nice equipment and was great for those cold, rainy days. There is trash pick up twice a day right at the campsite. There is a small store with essentials, snacks and ice cream which was nice to have. There are two dog parks that were nice maintained and not heavily used. There are trash cans and poop bags available throughout the park. As far as access to Savannah, it was about a 20 minute drive into the downtown area and traffic was never an issue. Another feature we really appreciated was that they allow package delivery. We had been on the road for a while and staying at State Parks so we appreciate being able to stock up on things we needed to have shipped. There is also propane available on site.Lastly, Wifi. They offer Wifi and there are nodes all over the park. Despite us being very close to one, we still experienced very poor speeds. The park was less than 50% occupied and speeds were still slow to even do email. There were short periods of time where it was usable, but definitely not dependable. We were surprised our Verizon signal wasn't better considering we are so close to the city. But we only had 2 bars on Verizon and 1 bar on T-Mobile.Overall we enjoyed our visit and would return.

Escort to your site is a nice plus as this is a fairly large park. Only negative was our site was not cleaned after the previous camper.

Pull thru and back-in, some concrete and some gravel level sites. Sites are long and connections are convenient. Back-in sites are along the outside with swamp/ heavy forest behind them. Bugs were bad in late May in our back-in site. There is a large lake where you can fish and kayak or just watch the alligators. DO NOT FEED THEM!!!!!Nice pool and kids pool, hot tub, covered pavilion with tables, TV, pool, darts, foose-ball and corn hole. There is also Boncee ball, tennis court and basketball hoop. They rent golf carts and kayaks. Showers are individual bathrooms which were nice, but not too plentiful and a walk away from the 2 Tent sites at the edge of the lake. Laundry room has 6 sets of machines in a small room and some of the front-loading washers smelled bad and had stuff on/under the seal. I was in there alone, but more than 2 people and it would have been very crowded. Hopefully as they expand they will plan more showers and another laundry. We were in the very back of the park (105) and WiFi was VERY MARGINAL, even with repeater 1 site away. I heard it was good enough for streaming closer to office, but I didn’t try it anywhere but our site. There is a restaurant onsite, and friends who stayed here before us said it was really good, but the night we went it was HORRIBLE!! My Cuban sandwich had no mustard or pickle, pulled pork nachos were cold in the middle, chicken Caesar salad had no anchovies, no croutons, and they asked what kind of dressing she wanted. Blue cheese burger was so salty it was inedible. AND it took 1.5 hours to get this awful food! We complained, but we’re not offered any discount or incentive to try it again - just excuses. Historic Savannah is an easy drive away, and if we come back to the area, we would stay here again.

Greeted by a huge live oak and a beautiful white southern styled clubhouse with wrap around porch. You definitely feel like you are in Savannah. We’ve stayed at this park for spring break in 2018 and came back again for 2019 because we loved it so much. We plan to continue to make visits for years to come. This is a new resort that has been well designed with attention to details. The sites are large and easily accommodates the largest rigs I’ve ever seen while we visited. We stayed in the back by the lake both years. The view of the water is lovely and we love fishing for bass. They were still building a new restaurant on the lake when we visited last but I believe it’s open now. Some perks to this place are:- heated pool and large jacuzzi - golf cart rentals available - very clean laundry facility - clean club house and public bathrooms & bathhouse- fun walking trail around the lake- shuttle to downtown Savannah (costs extra)- lots of activities for the kids (games, outdoor movies, special events, etc)- beautiful cabins / tiny houses for rent- Black Rifle Coffee Shop is a MUST VISIT when staying at Creekfire. It is only half a mile from the entrance of the resort and has the best coffee and awesome apparel supporting veterans, active duty and first responders. Areas that need improvement:- dog park is just a square fenced area behind the maintenance building with no grass and two chairs. Most people don’t even know it’s there so never any other pups to play with. It’s also nowhere near any of the RV sites so you have to drive to it. I know they are still expanding the park with plans to update the dog park in the future but they should really relocate it for better access. - the clubhouse barely carries any necessities or things you’d typically find in a club house convenience shop at a RV park so if you need anything expect to leave the resort

It is very quiet at night as well. The only downside is that one night the wind blew in a direction that you could smell the paper plants and it was awful. Not the fault of the RV park -but don’t be surprised if you are awaken by a foul smell. Just a hazard of this part of the country. We did not take advantage of this - but if you sign up for the trolley tour it will pick you up at the RV park, which is nice. The drive into Savannah was about 20 minutes - very easy; and another 20 minute drive to Wormsloe Plantation which is breathtaking. There is a great seafood market about one mile down the road. Don’t be put off by what it looks like- the fish is great and fresh.

The rest of the resort itself is amazingly well kept and the amenities are many. Golf cart rentals, a camp store, a huge pool with cabanas (for rent) and a kids pool that's about a foot deep with a small slide but ample room give you tons to do during your stay. There are tons of games in a covered outdoor area, as well as a bar area where they occasionally do drinks. The sites are a decent size, nothing to write home about, but accommodate even big rigs with ease. There are two sections, one by the lake, one closer to the pool, that give the option of the type of stay you'd like. We opted for lake view and were pleasantly surprised at the quiet vibe out near our spot. Options for both pull-thru and back-in and tons of walking trails and paved roads for bike riding. It was about 20 minutes to Savannah (downtown) making it a great spot outside the city to make home base but close enough to enjoy all that Savannah has to offer. Right off I-95, but hidden back away from the noise CreekFire will definitely be a place we stay again in the future.Weekly Rates: YesWIFI: Yes ($), ~15 Mbps down/~5 Mbps upCable TV: YesReceive Mail: YesFull Hookups: YesFire Pits onsite: Yes
