The campground was very very clean with a country atmosphere. We did not use any facilities, other than our campsite. Electric some water hook up looked new. Ample space between the sites and the campground was very quiet. We were very happy here in our 48 foot rig. The roads and the park sites are all gray gravel.

  • Not my idea of camping

We had great service from the owners. Their land is pretty, especially around the lake and the cattle field. They have WiFi that works great. The campsite itself is more like a parking lot with about 5 feet between sites with just a little patch of grass. I felt our site was in the front yard of the house that’s on the property. It was not inviting enough for us to even get our chairs out. It’s just about 7 miles from Fall Creek Falls State Park which was amazing. Boy, did we pick a good week to go. The leaves were beautiful. Next time we will camp there.

  • More than we expected.

Very nice campground nestled in the Cumberland Plateau area. Very well maintain, full hook up sites. Beautiful property with small lake, game room, laundry facilities and showers. Wifi is excellent. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Glen while visiting Fall Creek Falls State Park.

All sites are pull-through with full hookups, picknic tables, and in-ground fire pit/grill. Also nice tent sites available. Very clean individual wash rooms and laundry. Game room and small playground. Pet walking area is nice. Site 13 is right by the entrance road but has a great view of the small lake and the evening sky. Also close to the bath house, office, ice, etc. There is a pavilion with grills between the tent sites and the RV sites. If you want to hit the annual World’s Longest Yard Sale (or Hwy 127 Sale) this is a good place to stay as it is only 10 miles down the mountain to Hwy 127 between Dunlap and Pikeville. I would not advise pulling a camper or any RV up that road to the campground as there are multiple hairpin curves. Follow the campground directions for bringing in your RV from a much easier route. No AT&T cell service but the campground has free wi-fi access that was very good.

  • Very clean and quiet.

We pull a 40ft 5th wheel with a semi truck and we found the roads and site sizes to be adequate. Not all sites can accommodate extra-large rigs like ours, so call ahead. Staff is very friendly. Location is very remote. Read their directions carefully because there are lots of hairpin turns and steep grades on the smaller roads in the area. 1 hour to Chattanooga. 30 minutes to a Walmart. 15 minutes to a DollarGeneral.Cell service is non-existent. We travel with 5 services providers and none of them worked (AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, and Verizon). Wifi is technically accessible from all sites, but we found it to be slow and spotty. Suitable for casual web browsing, but we found it lacking for VOIP calling.

We were originally in spot 30, but could not access wifi so they allowed us to move to spot 23 to get better reception. The park is nice and quite with beautiful scenery and a small pond that is catch and release. Very nice and helpful staff. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. This park is in a very rural area so we had no phone reception, but that is not the park's fault. We could drive about 2-3 miles down the road to get a decent reception and make calls home. They do have a complimentary phone you can use to make calls with free long distance service, just another plus for this park!
