Nice looking park about 3 miles off I-40 from exit 329. Staff friendly and lead you to your site. Tight maneuvering for large rigs towing. Cars were parked in or near the already narrow, curvy interior roads. Staff had to ask the people behind us to move their vehicle so we could get into our site. We had a pull thru, concrete site which is up front. The site is narrow and our toad ended up being mostly in the grass not on the concrete. As good as our site (33) looked, it was terribly unlevel – side to side and hanging down in the back. We were not able to get level front to back so we needed handrails inside to keep from running to the back! We would have asked to be moved but we didn’t see any pull thru site that looked any better as they are terraced. The sites closest to the road are mostly likely the most level but we didn’t think we’d be able to make the turn to get out of the site. Decent spacing between sites with grass. No trees for shade. Verizon 5g 3 bars. Satellite would not be a problem. Internet did not work (surprise, surprise). Very noisy sandwiched between I-40 and 70 constant sounds of tractor trailers, dump trucks and souped up vehicles. Call for directions.
