Also walking distance to a Dollar General and another small convenience store. The park itself is nice too. Very clean and the staff that we interacted with were very nice. The sites are fairly close together and access is tight. We have a 40’ class A and I wouldn’t want to drive anything much bigger through the park. Lots of things to do as well including some outside games and nice arcade. About half of the arcade games were out of order which was a little disappointing but it was still fun for my son. There is a nice stream that runs through the park that gives it sone character. The park is close to the road so there is considerable road noise. Overall very nice place that we would stay at again.

Roads looked difficult for big rigs, but no problem at all for our 26 foot Class C, plus the staff helps you into your site. Park is smaller and sites were close together, but lots of shade, wifi was great and reliable, and restrooms were clean. Lots of activities in the campground and has a small store and ice cream shop. We were in site #50, a premium streamside site with full hookups.

Do not stay in any of the sites on the Hwy 321 side if you are sensitive to almost constant, engine noise. We were hoping it would quiet down after dark, but we were awakened by motorcycles and loud cars and trucks at all hours of the night. It felt so frustrating to be parked right next to a beautiful, babbling brook that we couldn’t hear or enjoy because there was a busy highway on the other side of it. I would only book SITE #45 at this location. It is a charming, spacious and private spot, tucked all the way at the back of the campground and the stream is wider back there, so it overpowers the sound of from the road. All the sites on the back row were very close together, but SITE #45 is set off in its own corner. SITE #46 and #47 come in 2nd and 3rd place, but only if you’re dead set on staying here. The tent area (also at the back of the campground) seemed lovely and quiet, so that was definitely the best place to be if you’re not traveling in an RV. Our (8 year old) son loved the pool, ice cream shop, and playground, and it’s definitely a neat little campground, but not a great stop if you’re looking for spacious sites, scenic views, and peace & quiet. We booked 3 nights, but left after the first night in hopes of finding something more serene.

Overall this was a lovely setting. We had a site right on the creek. We stayed Thanksgiving week 2019. Gravel site, many dogs, no dog run to speak of. Our neighbors we taking their dog to relieve themselves near the bathrooms and children's play ground.Only two negatives: No WIFI!!! This camp ground seriously need to update their services. You could not stay connected. No TV streaming, no internet. It would bounce up and down mostly down. Very frustrating since is rained a couple of days.Laundry room was disgusting at best. Appliances were dirty, floor very dirty. Entrance was not well marked. Very dark when coming in at night. We would stay again. With a few upgrades this little campground could be amazing.
Beautiful - wouldn’t say “dog friendly”

It’s very clean, the staff are wonderful, and everything works perfectly. It’s centrally locates to a lot of activities also. I will likely not stay here again as one who travels with my dogs. The “dog walk” where your dogs are allowed to relieve themselves was on the other side of the campground from my site. A little hard for my tripod dog to maneuver with the large gravel but no biggie for me to carry him. But the walk is literally right next to the highway where cars go flying through. Only half of it even is protected with a guard rail. I did not feel safe with my dogs there at all being so close to the highway. You are also not supposed to leave your dogs on tie outs outside so if they’re not relieving themselves they’re...constantly in your RV. For that reason I will not stay here again. If I didn’t travel with dogs I would stay again. Also one of the staff who lives onsite has a large dog that stays outside and barks...loudly and often at all hours except the dead of night. Not super calming.

Picked up garbage daily, restrooms very clean. Called office one evening to see if they were open and though they had closed asked what I needed and said just needed bag of ice, told me sorry their closed so had to drive to a store. Thought if they were in the office I still could have grabbed a bag of ice. Guess I get it. Was disappointed in the streams, expected water running in them, there was some but nothing like what you expect by looking at the map. Didn’t expect it to be to scale but by the map they look much wider when they are only maybe 6 feet wide and I could walk through them and not get feet wet by just walking across the small rocks. Not sure if people reserved a certain spot but there were maybe 6 other campers there and we were all next to each other rather than spreading us out since 2/3 of campground was empty. As it was nice next time would probably try and get into one of the many campgrounds a lot closer to town.

There are still some of the trappings of a Jellystone: a fairly full activities schedule, amenities like gem mining, an ice cream shop, and free mini golf....but it's also a small, heavily wooded campground a good distance away from the more touristy parts of the Smoky Mountains. It's located in Cosby, TN, about 25-30 minutes from Gatlinburg. There are a few good and less trafficked trails near the campground, but it's a bit of a drive to most of the well-known stuff in the park. Sites are narrow, but almost all of them back up to one of two really lovely mountain streams (the kids spent hours playing in them), which makes up for the cramped quarters. Our site was adjacent to one of the cabins, which meant we had a privacy fence on the door side of our trailer instead of someone's sewer hookup. Check-in was great; someone guides you to your site and does an amazingly precise job of backing you in. There was tons for the kids to do, but only about 65 RV sites plus cabins, so things never felt too crazy.
