A great stop right off the highway. Super nice staff, easy in and out (make sure you pay attention to the left turn in past the gas station). Not the biggest or roomiest sites, but we weren’t there for vacation. We stayed an extra day to stock up on groceries and also enjoyed the Mexican restaurant in walking distance.

  • Cramped site; weird sewer connection

We stayed one night. It was clean and the staff was friendly, but the sites were on top of each other. Also the tiny shower stalls could use some repairs on the old, paint peeling ceiling. Finally the sewer connection was so tiny I wonder if a regular stinky slinky would fit.

  • Cramped sites, good Verizon signal

It's not really a place you'd want to hang out outside, but we had a week where we mainly stayed in during the days to get work done, so it didn't bother us too much. The bathrooms were alright; showers were pretty small and had a step up into them (might not be good for someone unsteady on their feet). The laundry was cheap - $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry (I think) and they had a nice game room. The dog park was also large and well-kept. Close to interstate, but not a lot of road noise. Staff was friendly without being up in your business. Takes about 25 minutes to get anywhere you want to be in Knoxville. Not a ton of places to walk the pups, but nearby Norris Dam State Park was good for that. Wifi was actually pretty good, but I wouldn't rely on it to work. We had full Verizon bars.

The campground has no fire pits, no trees for shade, paved spots. Wifi does not work, we even asked before arriving and made it clear this was something that we needed. We would have never stayed here, but needed to get work done.
