I would like to give it more stars because it does have some redeeming qualities. It has a nice grassy field at the end of the sites for dog walking, and there are big trees for shade. The sites are no closer than many rv parks and the water and electric hookups, bathrooms and laundry are adequate. Unfortunately, the negatives really outweigh the the positives. It is right on the Clark Fork River, but directly on the other side of the river (maybe 30 yards away) is I90. As a result the road noise is loud and incessant. And there are trains that whistle early in the morning and at least 2 other times daily that I heard. Also, they claim to have wifi, but it did not reach any site in the campground that I could find. I did go up to the office and was able to sit outside and get a weak connection, but then it starting raining so I gave up. I would prefer they not advertise wifi rather than being surprised. During the day, we fished at the Drummond City Park and it looked very quiet with only 1 other camper. I'll go there next time the Grizzlies are in town.

  • Extremely clean and nice.

Wonderful campground right on the river. One con would be for light sleepers is you are right on interstate 90. Otherwise a straight 5 star. Also a railway but only had 2 trains during our stay.

Thought we’d stay in Missoula but this place caught our eye from the highway. Clean, shady, and a friendly host. No WiFi at our spot. Train and road noise but it was drowned out by our A/C and fan at night. We loved visiting the nearby ghost town. Great one night stop.

Close to Garnet ghost town and Philipsburg for day trips. We found the park to be very clean and only a couple sites which were close to each other. Clean restrooms and showers. Road and train noise did not bother us. Only had electric and water because they are so close to the Clark Fork River.

Cute park but sites are so close you are touching your neighbor. WiFi was unusable. The power went out at about 6:00 pm so had to have windows open. The traffic and train noise was very loud - no sleep.

So water and electric only. I did not check them out because I have my own. Got low stars because it has a very very tight entryway the sites are so small and tight we could not put our awning out in the site we were in had no picnic table because there was no room for one a few sites had picnic tables. It was right on the freeway so a lot of traffic noise. It’s also right on the river which would have been awesome if you could have seen it or gotten to it it’s all grown up around it they haven’t got anything cleared so you don’t even know you’re on the river you can’t even hear it. Ok for overnight or scouting which is what we did. Also they have Wi-Fi it works if you’re like in the first spot right next to the office otherwise forget it. Cheapest place around.

Beautiful shaded park along the Clark Fork River. water/elec hookups (30 and 50 amp). Dump station at top of hill (not allowed down by the river). Cute cabins as well. Owner went out of his way to help us when our truck broke down. He even lent us a vehicle to use. going back next year. You should too.

The campground is very clean and the hosts were great. We pains $31.50 with the Good Sam discount for a site with electric and water hookups. There are no sewer hookups at the sites due to proximity to the river, but there is a dump station on your way out. We had a nice level pull through site. The sites are pretty close together, but the campground is very quiet. There were no fire pits because of the burn band in effect. There are little cabins that are available to rent that are modeled like an Old West town. The showers and bathrooms were very clean and well maintained. Laundry was available as well. There are trains that go by across the interstate throughout the night. We didn’t hear them with our fans on, but in a setup without white noise this could be a problem. We will definitely stop here again.

Nice grassy and shady CG along a beautiful river with I-90 and major railroad line following the valley. Site are spacious for all sizes, Water/Electric only very level with light gravel surface and grassy area. Lots of green spaces plus several access point to the river. This is a family run operation, making a go at it. They have renovated Bath and Laundry facility, but have a ways to go with some big dreams. This place is a great stop; to support a growing small business. Expect they will have this place top of the line in a few years. Only draw-back was lack of campground wifi, great connection if you are at the large chalet/hotel, but out at the sites- nothing. Some interstate and train noise, but not a big issue. We will stop again and see how this place improves- lots of raw potential beautiful setting, and a great place to stay.
