There were much nicer spots with raised platforms with tables and chairs, and others with more space. The mosquitos were shared by all. When walking the dog, we were swarmed and the Kamp K9 was buzzing!!! Not in a good way. The location was convenient for us for LBL and Paris. Our first time to visit the area but not likely to be our last. Would I come again, only if I had the option for a better location, ours was much more suited for a trailer. And we brought everything we needed to keep the mosquitos at bay. All the pads were limestone, so being true level was not an option. Cell service was week but KOA did have satisfactory wifi.

  • Charming little campground!

Some of the sites are very small... but the ones on the ends of the rows had nice views and plenty of room. (Ask for them!) Decks available at certain sites fir an up charge. Clean bathhouse, nice pool. Playground, corn hole and horse shoes. Lots of family activities. Very friendly staff. Beautiful location with a DG very close. We stayed here last summer and really enjoyed it. Our spot had a deck and a path with pavers around the firepit, we were on the very end and it was a great spot. I have teen boys and they loved the disc golf and mini golf. The dlar general was across the street and very handy when we realized we forgot the coffee pot. I have teen boys and they loved the disc golf and mini golf. The dlar general was across the street and very handy when we realized we forgot the coffee pot. The boys went golfing at the 18 hole course im the state park and played basketball over there for a while too. Staff were so helpful. We will be going back soon.
