We stayed a week and got their weekly rate but if you don't, there's no way this place would be worth $50/night. DO NOT pay the $1/night extra for a "private" fire ring because no sites have private fire rings. There are two community fire rings in the park. You're paying extra to be on the site next to one of them. Sites have a cement pad but ours was so unlevel that the front wheels of our RV were off the ground. No pool and no lake access, but just a couple miles from a very nice state park. We would go back because of the hospitality and kindness of the people on the permanent sites. Make sure you request a site at the back end of the park, away from the major highway that it sits on.

It was not ideal as it was 13 hours from home, but it was a place to land. Ultimately we found a different location only a few hours from home that would take us and we canceled well in advance of the 72 cut off and they promptly returned our money (minus the advertised $25 fee for cancellation). I have zero problems with anyone who puts things down on paper and then does just what they say. They were friendly and very accommodating over the phone and when we get back to the area, we're going to look them up.
