They accept Passport America (half price) and the couple running it are super friendly. There is train and highway noise in the distance, but we hardly noticed it. And there was a guy parked not too far from us who ran his generator one evening. Not sure if he had power issues or what. But we’d definitely stay again!

Owners and hosts friendly and helpful. Offered fresh tomatoes and cakes from their garden. Good wifi except it went out for a bit after a thunderstorm. Only downside was when the wind shifted and came from the south, bringing the sounds and smells of a nearby feedlot. Predominant wind is from the north, and when it shifted back, all was well. Far enough from the interstate that I didn’t hear cars. Occasional train whistle in the distance.
No frills CG must be near a feedlot

There were quite a few long term campers here. The office staff wasn’t concerned about Covid-19 since they weren’t wearing masks even though we were. There was a definite odor from cattle nearby, how bad it is may depend on the wind direction.

The 4 bathroom/shower rooms are at the back end of office, accessible from the outside and have individually locking doors. Water was hot and I did not run out. The laundry room is accessible from the office/store, although we did not use it. The store has basic camping and fishing supplies, shirts and hats, book exchange and DVD overnight loan outs. They have an ice cream freezer with assorted frozen treats and even have beer and malt beverages for sale at a very reasonable price and give you a free bag of ice with your beer purchase! The pull thru spots were 85' long and they have added on a couple areas of back-ins and currently have 1 unfurnished cabin to rent. We will most likely make this an annual stop for us on the way to the sugar beet harvest.
Nice surprise

Shower / toilet rooms were big with heat for your early morning shower. Everything was clean and well cared for. Check in was easy. We only stayed one night but would stay again when we are in the area. Access was easy and not very far off the highway. Good WIFI coverage.
