Showers are clean if a little tight (small space) esp with people practicing no social distancing or masking whatsoever just after Sturgis rally super spreader event---no surprise for South Dakota. It was close to friends we were visiting and quiet and ticked most our boxes. Owner/mgr was very nice on phone and reasonable reservation policy. No OATV, weak Verizon, no wifi.

Harley even provided leveling blocks and went out of his way to make sure we were level! Their camp store has all the essential items in case you’re running short on food, wine or beer. The park is clean and provides large pull thru sites, bathroom and showers and a laundry room. They offer full hookup with sewer or just electric and water sites...and WiFi throughout. If we come through again we will definitely stay here!

Our friends had stayed elsewhere a few years ago, this was a drastic improvement, according to them. We would stay here again. This campground was central to all the great motorcycle rides in the area. The owners, Harley and Lisa, live on site with their dogs and are super nice and informative. During bike week we actually paid $60 a night. We extended our stay and the last night was $38 for full hookups after rally week. It’s an older, seasonal campground. The current owners have been running the place for the last 6 seasons. Most RV sites were very long, gravel or grass pull throughs, some with full hookups others with partial hookups. We saw 36 sites (21 fullhookups, 15 partial), 4 cabins, 7 labeled tent sites and a few unlabeled camping areas, some with a ramada. According to the owners, each utility box used to support 2 RV's back when RV's didn't have all the slide outs. Lots of mowed green grass, pet friendly, salt water pool, office/store, restrooms, showers and laundry. Bathrooms were very clean and modern. Up the road about 1/4 of a mile towards Silver City, was trail head parking for the Centennial Trail, we explored the trail both ways and also the deer creek trail. Highway 385 is a major north/south route in the Black Hills. The highway was roaring during bike week with 100's (1000's probably) of motorcycles daily, us included. It did quiet down later in the evening. We stayed an extra 2 nights, the traffic was considerably less, but it was still busy.In someways the resort shows its age. Areas could be painted, walkways swept, flower pots need attention, weed eating near obstacles, etc. If you are there during a thunder/lightning/wind/rain storm season, be sure to pull in you awnings if you leave camp!
