Felt homey + tucked away from the main road in Silver City. When we first pulled in there was a bit of construction going on and our water pressure went up and down. Couldn't figure out what it was. Someone later told us sometimes they turn off the water periodically. Oh well, once we got settled in it turned back on and was fine for the rest of the stay. It was very quiet + the facilities were nice. Big laundry room. Good areas to walk the dogs and stretch our legs. We were in a pull thru spot, but the rest of the park was easy to navigate and spacious enough to get through. No complaints here!

Adjusting the hot water in two of the showers was an adventure. The sites themselves are basic gravel and requiring a bit of leveling. They are full hook up. As noted there are no picnic tables or any other kind of furniture. Bring your own. There seem to be a fair number of long-term campers at the campground. On the whole it's pretty quiet. We did have one neighbor with a noisy pickup who went in and out at all sorts of odd hours. The wifi seemed weak at times. Cell coverage for our tracfones, however, was excellent. The staff is very friendly. There are lot of old farm implements around the property to view if you want to take a walk. The park is convenient to downtown as well as local shopping. All in all it's an ok campground that covers the basics.

The roads and sites are gravel but well maintained. Not completely level but just a few boards and we were set. They honored our P/A discount for 2 days (50% off) then our Good Sams for next two days (10%). This place is so much better than a standard $32.00/nite RV park.

We chose a pull-through site with full hookups. This is a great RV campground. It is very close to town, but you still feel isolated. Each site has a little wooden fenced area. We pulled our camper up to this fenced area, blocked off the sides and our two dogs were contained and could be off of their tie outs. Due to current Covid-19 restrictions, you are not allowed to use the laundry or bathrooms until you have been at the RV ranch for 14 days to help slow the spread. This was no problem for us as we didn't need either of those facilities. What I really loved is how spaced out the sites are from each other. We had just come from a KOA and this was a nice change. During our time in the area, we drove up to the Gila Cliff Dwellings National Monument. This is about a two hour drive on one of the most beautiful roads we've ever driven. The Rose Valley RV Ranch was a great place to base out of! We also highly recommend the burgers from the Little Toad Creek Brewery and Distillery. They are open for take-out currently and are delicious!

I spoke with Ann when I booked and asked her which available site was the nicest in her opinion. She put us in site 34, and it was lovely. It felt very solitary and even if we had actually had neighbors, the sites are very large and reclaimed wood fences separate the campsites which makes it feel very private. A lot of natural vegetation is throughout the park so you have lots of cedar trees hiding roadrunners in their skirts which lends a rustic feel. I hear that the showers and washroom are nice, but we were unable to use them because of C19 restrictions. There was ample WiFi throughout the park that worked well for us. Our Verizon signal was very good also. This is an excellent base to explore Silver City. They honored our Passport America discount for 2 nights which made it very affordable.

Several large clean showers/ bathrooms, laundry and library but no amenities like a pool or hot tub. Great prices and we used AARP to get additional discount, they also accept Good Sam. Cabins available. We were very happy and recommend it.

The park is very dark at night, so bring a flash light. I would stay there again. On a personal note, if you have a dog, make sure to follow the rules and take care of your dog. They had very bad experiences lately with dogs biting people and barking non stop. It's the owners responsibility. I had to convince them that I had a well trained and behaving German Shepherd and that I am fully responsible for her behavior. This is a great place for dogs, since there are a lot of trails to go on a walk in the morning and evening. My dog loved the place and so did I.

The park is dirt/gravel with lots of greenery which give it that campground feel and the sites were spread out nicely- we were in #61 which was very big and had open space behind it- the deer were plentiful there. We saw them each morning and evening. The full hookups worked great- we had no problems. We also got about 12 TV channels off our antenna. The laundry room and showers were very clean and the free wifi worked well enough. We had a very strong Verizon signal here.We will stay again when in the area and recommend you give them a try!

Once just my husband and myself and this most recent time with our 9yr old. They handle our late check in very smoothly. We are the kind to show up well after dark. Your just drive up to the office and there is a map with your site circled, along with instructions/rules. The sites are huge! They allowed my small clothesline on the divider fence for towels and swimsuits. Each site has a gravel pad, that while not always the most level, does appear to have been leveled or worked every-time we have been there. My favorite part has to be the bathrooms. The punch code door locks always work without issues of the buttons sticking. The doors are lit up just enough to be able to do them in the dark. The bathrooms themselves are big, which is nice with younger children. They have been immaculately clean both times we have been there. The water pressure is consistent, which is more than I can say for home. the park while in town does not feel that way. It backs up to the graveyard and has greenspace on the other sides. I highly recommend this park for everyone big or small!

Seems to be mostly long term residents but the sites are well kept. The sites are pretty darn long but not very level. We ended up with one front tire off the ground. There is quite a bit of room between sites. They have a small area on the side protected by a wood fence (I guess for the wind) but, oddly, there is no picnic table. The WII FI was either screaming fast or not working at all. We were located right by a hotspot. Our friends right next to us couldn’t even see the hotspot on any of their devices. Directv satellite worked fine. Verizon 4g 3 bars. It is fairly quiet as the park is a block or two off the main road. Our sites backed up to the Memory Lane cemetery – which is one of the most desolate looking cemeteries I’ve ever seen. There is not a blade of grass, and they obviously have drainage issues. We found the oddball fake flowers in our site that drifted over from the cemetery. It was a good location for visiting the Gila Cliff dwellings. We drove up 15 and returned on 35 through Mimbres. Both ways have beautiful scenery. The Gila Cliff dwellings are unusual in that you can hike right up and through most of them. Great outing!

This place goes the extra mile, even offering to back my trailer in when my remote control was on the fritz! And the front office worked the reservation to give me passport america and good sam discounts on different nights, so I ended up paying $39 for the 3 nights of full hookups.Sites are generously spaced apart, with little wooden fences for privacy, and an area to set up your table, chairs and grill. No table/benches provided. I rarely heard or saw neighbors, it's a really quiet park, even though it was full 2 of the 3 nights I was there. Showers are generous (a private toilet and sink as well as plenty of room to move around in, and the hot water was endless. Nice rain-shower type showerheads too. Laundry is small, but not busy, so no waiting for washer or dryer ($2.50 total for wash and dry). You can walk through a dirt path to the Albertsons grocery store, or drive into the downtown area in 5 minutes. So this location is great for sightseeing or for more practical matters. And if you need RV service, ask for Rhonda or Ken at AAA RV repair, they did a great job on my wheels and did a bunch of small things for my friend's trailer.

The Ranch is very well kept, with thoughtfully laid out spaces and western kitsch theme. Our only interaction with staff was the very warm and helpful lady that checked us in. She offered some very helpful insight for our trip to the Gila Cliff Dwellings, which was our destination for the area. If you find yourself in the area I highly recommend staying at Rose Valley Ranch and exploring Silver City, but ultimately your objective should be the Cliff Dwellings...a trip which is worth more than words...but leave your RV or trailer at Rose Valley.I should also mention that we left for the cliff dwellings in our SUV early in the morning the day of checkout from Rose Valley. They were very accommodating and at check in even suggested we do so. We returned to the Ranch long after checkout time, fired up our bus, said goodbye at the office and were on our way. Their flexibility allowed for us to experience an amazing day at Gila Cliff Dwellings and for that we are thankful.

They’ve employed good use of trees, bushes, and decorative western-style wood walls to provide decent privacy between sites, which are gravel based and fairly flat. The staff was very friendly, and though we’ve read reviews on other sites that said this place is not good for children, we disagree. Yes, there is a lot of old farm equipment that isn’t intended for playing, but we didn’t have any trouble keeping our toddler away from these items. There are a few miles of walking trails at the south edge of the park that we explored a little. The laundry room was clean, well-maintained and heated. Had some problems with one dryer being full of quarters, thus not available for use, and the next day another dryer’s drum stopped spinning in the middle of our cycle. There are only four washers and four dryers. Cost was $1.25 to wash and $1.00 for 40 mins of drying. The “dog run” is really just two poles with a wire strung in-between, not an enclosed space for them to run off the leash. It’s a good location next to the historic cemetery where Billy the Kid’s mother is buried, walking distance from the bowling alley, and only a few miles from downtown Silver City. If we were passing through this area in the future, we would stay here again.

It is a great campground for exploring the Silver City, NM area. There are some full-time residents in the park but the park is kept clean. Most of the sites have some type of fence in between sites. I loved site #59 (not sure if this is a monthly site or just a daily/weekly site) which backed up into an open field. There are some short trails which are great for walking the dog at night. Although it is close to Silver City, you feel like you are out in the country and it is quiet at night. The showers and laundry area are clean. If your dog needs a dog park with some grassy areas, there is one at 13th/Virginia.One of the great areas to hike is at the Little Walnut area and Gomez Peak. Located not far outside of town, there is a great trail system. Also hike the Dragonfly Trail and Big Tree Trail which are close to the campground location. Gila Cliff Dwellings is a doable day trip. The annual DutchOven cook off is held in March in the small town of Glenwood, NM.In the town of Silver City, there seems to be a coffee house on every block, a great co-op and don't miss the Syzygy Tile store, they make handmade tiles!
