The camp hosts were fantastic and were very helpful in our checkin and stay. Bathrooms were very clean and were cleaned several times per day. Showers were fine. There was some road noise from Rt. 44 which was right down the hill but this was not a reason to lower my rating. The pancake breakfast special was delicious, and if you like biscuits and gravy they have done a great job with those as well. There are plenty activities in the campground for kids as well.

You would think you are at a remote location by how peaceful it is here. It is well maintained, clean, and very kind. I originally was against KOAs because the ones in Arizona were trashy and like Lord of the Flies, but here it actually changed my mind on them. You are located by alot of restaurants and businesses even within walking distance. Also I am a new RV driver and maneuvering and parking went by very smoothly, so I will be coming back here again

Typical KOA, level sites on the small side. Our neighbor’s tent for his motorcycles was over our sewer hookup. But the most frustrating thing was the WiFi. Our neighbor’s tent for his motorcycles was over our sewer hookup. But the most frustrating thing was the WiFi. We could hookup to 3 of the available 4 nodes but couldn’t get to the internet on any of them. I didn’t want to stream TV or movies as requested by the campground but my WiFi extender is activated through the internet. I told the office who said no one else complained so no help. Got a nice map to the bike path to downtown only to find the path blocked because the Central States Fair was going on. Oh well, live and learn.

It’s about an hour drive to any of those from this campground. Overall good experience. Nice level sites, mostly pull through, most had picnic table, fire pit and a tree. it was a little odd that it was set in the city in a seemingly residential area with houses overlooking the campground, but there were no issues with this. It’s close to highway and major roads, but there was very little noise from those. Pool had been closed for remodel, but the remodel had not yet started due to COVID. Staff was super friendly and attentive. Bathrooms and showers were cleaned regularly. Two playgrounds on site was nice for our son. All hookups worked well. WiFi was a little sketchy. One tip, try to enter the campground from the west (left hand turn). The right turn entry is a bit sharp and it would be easy to catch the curb.

Stayed at a pull through for two nights because we needed a driving break. Not noisy. Great access to downtown rapid city but we didn’t leave the RV park to stay Covid safe while traveling. Each spot in our row (60s) had a picnic table with a shady overhang. All sites looked easy to park with no weird directions. Contactless checkin.

It is right near rapid city and i90 so this made a great stop for our cross country journey. Some spots are unpaved, some unpaved with a paved patio, and some paved with nice patios. We came in the off season and a winter storm had hit so we opted for the fully paved as some of the unpaved were soupy. WiFi didn’t work.

We only stay at KOA's while traveling because they aren't our kind of "camping" but they're easy when you've been driving for 10 hours and just need a place to crash. The hosts were friendly and helpful and everything was typical of a KOA: level pull-through sites (though tight), clean showers, bathrooms and laundry. Also, we had a couple pizzas delivered from the Papa John's and it came super fast and they brought it right to our site.

Now this is what I call a great RV park. Large lots, you can have a campfire, they sell wood, they even rent cars! All the people were super nice. The showers were not that big but certainly not small and I have seen all sizes, the shower heads were more than high enough for me and I am 5’9” and I am a hefty guy and I had no issues....moreNow this is what I call a great RV park. I had to find something wrong! And yes not all sites have cable but so what just check when you make your reservations... so many other campgrounds don’t even offer cable!... and soooo clean! If I come back to this area I am coming back here... you should too!!!

Very surprised at how clean this campgound is. Noise is very minimal, even with Air Force Base being close by. We will stay here again. Staff was very pleasant to work with and the S'mores were an enjoyable event in the evening before retiring to camper for the night.

If you have memberships - ask for the discount because these folks didn’t ask (nor did I mention it) so we lost that discount. Overall our site was quiet and quite nice. Sewer drops are near the back of the driveway so you will need 3-4 sections to connect. Water/cable/power positioning was good. Site fairly level. Neighbor’s sewer connection drop about a foot away from the picnic table! Rather nasty. We didn’t use the table for that reason. Noticed family events early evening & ‘all you can eat pancakes’ for $2.99 for breakfast. Nice social park with a lot of nice amenities.

We enjoyed our stay here. The sites are small and unless you are on an end like we were, it almost feels like you might start your neighbor's trailer on fire if you use the fire pit.A number of the trees were dead leaving little shade for a large number of spots.
