They rock shop and tours were closed since COVID. We had the place to ourselves.Showers we're sufficient. Good sized dressing area in the ladies shower area. The laundry areas was clean. The dryers dry in just one cycle for $0.75.Our AT&T reception was one bar and no bars for our TMobile device. We were told that cell service was better at the other end of he resort which is up and over the hill and in the neighbouring valley. We hiked over to check it out, and decided to stay where we were. Pool was not yet open and the lodge is only open during Sturgis Bike raly month. We had wild turkeys and deer that hung out near by. And the hiking lead to some nice overlooks. We’d definitely return.

Campground accepts Passport America as long as it isn't during the Sturgis motorcycle rally. Our main draw to this campground was the pool. They have an outdoor pool that is clean, well maintained, and doesn't smell like chlorine. The campground is split into at least two separate areas. We were in the back area which is a field with a bunch of utility poles separated by a muddy road. It was quiet at night, no road noise and the neighbors were respectful. Some sites were full hook up, we had water and electric only (50amp, no issues with the water or power). The staff seemed to have trouble communicating with each other, however I think that is due to the scramble to prepare for the upcoming Sturgis motorcycle rally which was due in a couple of weeks. It seemed like preparations were under way.The showers in the back camp area were basic and the water wasn't very hot. The maintenance worker said the pilot light may have gone out, so likely this was just a temporary issue. The water at the dump station was turned off so we had to run a long hose to flush.Overall we would stay here again, it was well laid out and for the price it felt like a good value.

Very friendly and helpful woman at front desk. There is a pool, but they allow locals to use it for a fee, at 97 degrees it was full. OK for us as we just needed a place to stay after several travel days. Only about 10 miles from Sturgis, seems like a few 1 month early bikers are here. With the A.C. on we don't hear the outside world. Prior review, still accurate

I would not have guessed that many, but I think they are including numerous tent and boondocking possibilities for times like the Sturgis bike rally. They do have a very nice shower and laundry building with numerous private showers and many sinks available outside the building; perfect for the Sturgis crowd! We stayed one night in October, so it was not that kind of busy. RV sites a little close together, but ok. The girl that checked us in , "Nat" was awesome. Very helpful, and cheerful. We wanted to go to the Petrified Forest and Museum which is up the hill from the campground. She advised us not to pull our camper up there, but would gladly give us a ride. We are glad she did, because it was a very steep hill and gravel road, not good for pulling a camper. My only negative comment would be that if you are a sensitive sleeper, the traffic noise from interstate 90 was loud. The 12 mile an hour wind from the west did not help, but made it worse then it might be otherwise.
