This was the best experience camping! The sites are level and shaded. The bathrooms are individual bathrooms each with a shower or tub, toilet, and sink, and are kept very well. We were staying here while working in the area for almost 3 months, and were so sad when it was time to move on. Highly recommend this campground!

Pulled in at night time to head out to Reva Gap the next morning. Was convenient for us, host was friendly - saw 2 deer on arrival which was sweet. Heard 2 trains throughout the night season. Has shower house, bathrooms, garbage, full hook ups.

I agree with the previous review. Easy to get to, very clean, well laid out-there are cabins here too. Showers nice. Our hotspot had 2-3 bars but boosted we had 4. The WiFi differs throughout the park though Glen has 3 or 4 transponders around the park so some sites have more than others. Our first day there (late Aug) was cold with WINDS which killed any idea of kayaking and our second day was spent in Pierre. The Klein Museum, minutes from the park, is excellent and the Great Plains Family Restaurant has really good food for reasonable prices. And, as we have found with al of SD, everyone is nice.Glen lives in the house across from the office so if you drive in and see the door is locked he'll probably be out in a minute but just in case he has phone numbers posted on the door.

Free WIFI, my wife was able to stream CBS all access. The campground was quiet with the exception of a train that passed by. The pull through sites were easy to get in and out of. You could see the river, but there was no direct river access.Sorry, didn't try the hotspot, but AT&T cell service was good and the Internet on my phone worked fine.
