We got lucky and got a great spot, ideal for smaller rigs. It was right on the water and there’s plenty of others overlooking the lake. Nice campground with water and electric. Dump station on site. Level spots. Gorgeous river views and peeks even from interior. Clean. Hosts were very nice. Streets were a little narrow for our 34' MH with tow but manageable. About 2.5 hours from badlands NP.

This is a great spot along the river I would describe as nice and simple, not fancy, but comfortable. It is very tight to maneuver my 45’ Prevost with TOAD, but it was barely manageable. It is very tight to maneuver my 45’ Prevost with TOAD, but it was barely manageable. I arrived at sunset and the signage is basically non existent, so it was very challenging to find my spot in the dark, so you’ll need someone to scout ahead and direct you in. Other than that, it’s very comfortable, but the spots are very close together. It wasn’t busy when we were here, so it was very nice.

It is also right on the river and prone to flooding. When we visited, it had been raining for a month and there was standing water everywhere. It is located in a small, rural town but a convenient stop if you're passing from the Black Hills or the Bad Lands, heading east. The main reason we stopped here was to view the 50' tall metal sculpture, Dignity. Its right on the highway and well worth the visit. Learn more about her here: www.roadsideamerica.com/tip/54836

This campground is run by an outside company. $40 got us water and electricity. There was also a picnic table and a fire pit sunken into the ground. The electricity shut off mid morning but we were packing up to leave. There is a dump behind the office. Be very careful as there are obstacles as you pull out of the dump area. Bathrooms are dated. Not a bad park just not worth $40 a night.
