After driving over 4 hours, we arrived to find no one working, only a note on their door to find your spot and let them know which one you selected. All slots were full! We went around the park 3 times looking at every site that could accommodate our 5th wheel, but all were full. We called the park owner several times, leaving messages asking them to call us back. They did not. So, we found somewhere else to stay 30 minutes away. After several hours after setting up at the new site, they called and claimed that they had left a note on their front door for us and that were to have slot 12. I distinctly remember this site and know it was occupied. It's a small park. I'd highly recommend avoiding this place. It's ashame too. It's somewhat secluded and very quiet. Would have been a decent place to stay cheap.

  • Site was OK but the signage makes you aware of who is really welcome

We took 12, right next to the laundry. The site was a concrete slab just enough long enough for our 33' trailer.Bathrooms are clean with single shower, toilet and sink. The shower was clean with good hot water. We used the laundry for a couple of loads. Good clean machines that worked well. The signage made it quite clear who is welcome at the camp and who is not welcome. Had we known before we pulled in and set up, we would have boondocked it elsewhere.Good Sam, Veteran Status, and Senior Status is honored. We paid our bill in the morning and left.

Stopped while on 95. Made no human contact, just via phone. Many long term trailers, but sites are well kept. Large field for running the dogs. Park layout can be challenging, but full hookups for $33 in a peaceful clean place? Worth it. Great overnite stop.

The lady said that my sport was reserved and to just go to the box to drop CASH in the box. They did not want to take a card when I called. We arrived today to find the office closed, which I understood. The directions said to find a spot and then put your money in the box with your name and site number on it. We drove around and there was no spot. We called their number and had to leave a message. No call yet, 4 hrs later. They tell you have a reservation but according to the directions anybody can pick a site if they get there before you. Based on what I saw they might tell 20 people they have a reservation and only have two spots. This way they know they will be sold out. This place is a JOKE. Would not give them the time of day. Also area is not that clean. We camped at Jolly Acres RV Park and Storage in a Motorhome.

No one answered the phones for the days/week leading up to the trip so we couldn’t book before. When we got there around 4 pm no one was in the office to check in but they just had a note that said leave money in an envelope. We didn’t have any cash on us. We picked a site and it had full hookups. Everything worked fine, caught someone in the am as we were checking out to pay. Dog friendly. They said it was a Good Sam park but I’m not sure if they applied our discount.

We were here just before Christmas 2020 so the weather was not great and not all services ere available, in spite of that we had a nice rest and found many friendly guests. Our site was super level with a nice cement pad to step out on and a picnic table. The older couple that own the place were super nice!

We have been traveling down the coast but moved inland to make our friends drive to us easier. The campground is well laid out and level with some concrete pads and some gravel sites. There are 50 amp full hookups, but no tent camping. The laundry room, bathhouse and office were very clean and nice. The water had a sulpher smell so bring a filter for your fresh water hose. The town of St. George is nearby and has decent restaurants, grocery stores and a Flying J at I-95 (very easy drive through town to the campground from the interstate). They advertise having WiFi but it is slow and only broadcasts very near the office since it's just the wireless router on the office desk. Over the air TV was decent, less than 10 channels. There was a mix of seasonal campers and some folks who were probably living in their RVs while working somewhere nearby. It was definitely hunting season, hunting dogs on the run and gunshots were constantly close by along with freight trains passing nearby. There's a small pond with friendly hungry ducks. Fishing is allowed but the pond is really small.
