Really nice Campground near all the conveniences of the city just a few miles away. Sites were spaced far enough for some boundary but close enough for visiting neighbors. Clubhouse is a bit small & outdated. Bathhouse is ok. Some sites have drainage issues after heavy rain. On premise propane filling station.

Park is adjacent to and accessed through The Barnyard flea market.Sites are level gravel with a patio, picnic table and fire ring. Our site had metal screws, bits of hard plastic, and what appeared to be excrement, such as might be left after poorly cleaning up from a dog.Patio was too high to place our steps directly on it.

$38. for site B8 , no fire ring. They say there is a dog park, but it wasn't close to our site..... never noticed it . Weak wifi.... weak cell, needed boosters . Power was fine, water was regular city chlorinated. Quiet evening. Great for just passing thru for 1 night.

We had a Thule bike carrier and 3 extra locks, they cut everything, stole our bikes and our carrier was ruined. Our neighbor in the next site said they had their bikes stolen last year here, and when they stay here they leave them inside their motorhome overnight. There is a huge sign when you check in that they are not responsible for thefts or vandalism. Obviously this is a reoccurring problem here, the office said there is nothing they could do. If they know there’s a problem, why don’t they ramp up security or post patrols? They could even put a gate that you’d need a combination to get into the campground with a security camera to record all incoming and outgoing vehicles.

There are several long-term residents, but everyone was pleasant and quiet. We didn't use the laundry, but it appeared clean, and the front desk employee allowed me to get $50 worth of quarters without batting an eye. The park is directly adjacent to a huge weekend flea market that offered everything from local honey to small reptiles. It was a fun way to spend a morning browsing and picking up a few sundry items. It is a very short, easy drive to groceries and supplies. Verizon wasn't great, but the park's WiFi worked well.

Fortunately we just made dinner, went to bed, and left before breakfast in the morning. But we got electricity and wifi so I could do some work for the night.

When we arrived we were told they had a cancellation and we had been moved to a full hook up, pull thru-site. A nice, very accommodating surprise. I was afraid based on the first couple hours that it would be noisy, but by 10 pm it was quiet. The lot was level enough that we didn’t unhook from the truck.

Every site has a picnic table and almost, if not all, has a tree of some sort. Everything looks to be well maintained. Bathhouse was clean and consisted of individual rooms with shower, sink and toilet. There is a playground and a shady dog park. Office staff and campers we met were all friendly. There is a grocery store about a 5 minute walk away. The only drawback was no privacy between the rather closely spaced sites. This makes a great place to stop from either I 20 or I 26.

We were one of the front sites (B2) but didn't really have that much traffic past us.There was a bit of noise from airplanes passing overhead throughout the night, but it didn't really bother us. It's a little ways off the freeway but not a bad drive into downtown. About 30 minutes to the Congaree national park so we made this a central location to check out a few things in the area.

We chose this campground because they had cable hookups and we wanted to watch the final round of the Masters golf tournament. The facilities were adequate and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, most of the occupants were long-term residents that were on the seedy side. Our neighbor across the way came and went all night long in his loud diesel truck for who knows what. Some other neighbors looked like drug dealers. In a nutshell.....we did not feel safe. If we ever stay here again (probably won't), we will definitely chose the transient sites which are towards the front area of the campground and are well lighted at night.
