Each is a bit unique and many/most of the sites have very beautiful flora/fauna surrounding the sites. Again, most are very private. Our site had a picnic table and 4 patio chairs. We were able to host 4 people-so fun! The on the water sites are rather pricy. This site was just off the water with several empty sites next to it. There was a pool right on the water, beautiful settting, and another in the park. There was also a tennis court but we didn’t use it. Everyone in the park was very friendly. Some cons: the bathrooms need updating, there was a very simple fitness room, this is actually located just off HH so getting onto the island was not bikable, my dog missed not having a place where she could run off leash, there was also a very bright streetlight just off our sight, there did also seem to be some general areas that needed some picking up. The good out weighed the bad and overall we loved our stay. We will likely be back.

I booked several weeks in advance, and am coming from out of state. Today, they called me and said they were canceling my reservation because the owner of the space has decided they are coming. With one week to go, there is nowhere else available; everything is booked solid for spring break! Where am I supposed to go now? I guess I'll be spending my vacation in the Cracker Barrel parking lot, boondocking. This is not how I wanted to spend my vacation! Horrible business practice. DO NOT SUPPORT this place. That is NOT cool!** I have stayed at over 25 RV parks and campgrounds along the coast of Florida in the last three months. Check out my other reviews!**

Like others, we camped over Thanksgiving in our 35' fifth wheel - twice. Our dog got into a hornets nest in the ground and the staff came right away to eradicate them - offered to let us move as well. But now this - a direct quote from their website: "Due to our POA covenants, we do not accept pull behind travel trailers with slides or 5th wheel travel trailers with slides and they cannot exceed 35ft in length or 8 ft in width in their fully installed condition (which are to include tip outs and slide outs)." So that's it for us - we have slides and are no longer welcome. Hope they didn't evict the older gentleman in the Airstream. Let me know when you rescind this awful rule and we will be back.

Great private campground. All sites are privately owned so each spot is uniquely decorated. Great location close to everything. Would love to have stayed again, but the association decided that they no longer will accept TT or 5W with slides, very disappointing.

The RV spots themselves are wonderfully private, and are all independently owned, meaning you will find different decor in each spot (and even different paving options for parking). While each spot does provide full hookups you'll find that some are sunnier and closer to the water than others, while some are hidden back in wooded areas. While the wooded areas are nice for shade be aware that this is the south, near water, and therefore there are plenty of gnats and mosquitos awaiting your arrival, and are way worse in the back of the property. The amenities are few, two pools, both in fair shape, one on the water to view all the boats going in and out, and one tucked away in the middle of the resort. Their playground was, however, completely lacking with older equipment that hasn't been cared for in a long time. While there was plenty of room for bike riding and viewing boats on the water, be prepared that to adventure would require a car trip out to Hilton Head or a fee to rent a boat, kayak, jet ski, etc. from the local activities center which is located at the entrance to the resort (making larger rigs a more challenging drive in due to the parking of all the public awaiting their boat rentals). Also be aware turning in, or out, of the resort requires patience. It's on one of the only routes in/out of Hilton Head and therefore is cataclysmic with traffic, either way. We sat for 20 minutes one day waiting to depart, so be prepared. That said, once out, you are close to some great eating choices and all the beauty that Hilton Head has to offer.Weekly Rates: YesWIFI: Yes, 10 Mbps up/5 Mbps downCable TV: YesReceive Mail: YesFull Hookups: YesFire Pits onsite: Some, all spaces are privately owned

The RV park has lots of large trees, so most spots are shaded. It is also next to a marina, so if you get really lucky maybe you'll get a waterfront spot. The park is close to Hilton Head, yet feels miles from anything. There is a 5 star restaurant on site, with great views overlooking the river. The food there, while expensive, is amazing. The spots are all individually owned, so people try to take care of them so that you will chose their spot. Some are giant, others are much smaller. The only real drawback is that, as of spring of 2018, there is no light to pull out, so getting out can be a nail-biter.

This is one of the nicest RV parks we've ever stayed in. The facilities are top notch, clean and in excellent working order. The sites are generally screened and large for a private RV park. It's a relatively small park which means that there isn't a constant parade of vehicles entering and leaving which is nice. The staff is super friendly and helpful. You don't reserve a specific site in this campground. Rather, upon your arrival you get loaned a golf cart which you use to drive around and pick your site. This is good because many of the site owners have improved their sites significantly making some site much more desirable than others. Driving around and picking your site gives you the opportunity to make your decision based on what's important to you and what's available. Our $70/night price was for a waterfront site. Non waterfront are currently $60/night and monthly rates are $50/night (for the entire month.)Campground wifi was spotty at times of peak usage but blazing fast when not busy. Verizon cell data was pretty good most of the times but does slow down during peak times. Two things to consider:1. The RV park is located on Jenkins Road well back from the main ingress/egress road onto the island (Highway 278) so noise from that road is not an issue. However, because Highway 278 is the only way on and off the island it is extremely busy at many times of the day. Getting into the RV park from off the island requires making a left turn across traffic leaving the island. At the worst times the wait to make this turn can be 10 to 15 minutes (yes, it's unbelievable how much traffic there is here.) Leaving the campground to explore the island requires a left turn out of Jenkins Road onto 278 across the traffic leaving the island and merging with the traffic coming on the island. Again, making this turn during on of the many "rush hours" is frustrating and can take 10 to 15 minutes. Having sad this, we've often been able to make the entrance/exit onto/from Jenkins Road is only a few minutes if the traffic on 278 was light.2. If you are looking for a "beach experience" this may not be the place for you. The RV park is very near the entrance to HHI which means that in addition to the issues of getting out of Jenkins Road onto Hwy 278 you have to travel a long way to get to the public beaches where parking can be an issue. Once onto Highway 278, it's a good 30 minutes to an hour to get to the beaches (longer times being during the summer peak season.) So, if you want a beach experience, there are plenty of other campgrounds along the SC, GA and FL coasts that will be way more convenient. If you can deal with both of the above "dings" this place is wonderful. :-) I give this place five stars across the board but one star for location for the reasons previously stated.

We had a fabulous site for those with a fifth wheel, as it had a separate driveway area for the truck, so it felt very comfortable...complete with palm trees for a tropical Low Country vibe! You have the option of a waterfront site (which are basically sites on the boat docks) or an interior site. When you arrive, they give you a golf cart to drive through the park and pick your site (you don't have the option to reserve a specific site, only a reservation). This worked better than I anticipated, as we arrived on a Sunday. The park is very clean and the customer service is wonderful. My teenager even remarked that the office staff was extremely friendly and polite...which added to the "resort" or vacation feel. We enjoyed the pools and jacuzzi and my son loved fishing off of the boat dock. The location is easy to get to and a quick drive takes you over the bridge to quaint shopping in Hilton Head or the beaches. It is also an easy drive to Sea Pines, which is a lovely area to take bikes to. Hilton Head is a bike friendly island! Savannah was a 45 minute day trip. If you visit, set an extra day aside to visit Beaufort (I wish we had more time). This was the most wonderful and relaxing parks to spend Thanksgiving week at...for the those planning fall trips in the future...we were laying by the pool on Thanksgiving and it was 78 and sunny, although it did cool down on other days. This park is well protected from the wind. We will come back when in this part of the country again and simply loved our stay here. Lastly, this was the best wifi of any park we've been to, bar none!

When you check in they take you around on a golf cart to show you available sites for your stay and let you choose. This was really nice! I loved being able to pick which site we liked best. We picked a nice spacious site with some trees for shade and also a little bit of privacy. It was wonderful! The people that work there are super nice! I also loved that they do not charge extra for kids like so many RV parks do these days. Thank you for not charging a "kid tax"! They have 2 pools which are very nice and a playground. The whole park is just beautiful! The only downside which is not really about the park itself is the traffic on Hilton Head Island has gotten really bad. Trying to leave the park anytime around 5pm-ish, it takes so long to get out onto 278. We literally spent at least 10 minutes trying to get out one evening. A traffic light at the entrance to this park would be very helpful. Verizon 4G worked really well here, and I think the park Wifi is also good but we didn't use it much.
