The campground hosts themed events, game nights and arts& crafts. There is a swimming pool and playground for the kids. It also has a small café that sells baked goods and coffee. On Saturdays they sell amazing Armish Donuts! Further into the campground the sites turn to more permanent sites. Further up the hill are more cottages and camping. This campground is steep in parts and too large to walk efficiently. There is a fenced dog run area and a beautiful lake. All sites have fire rings. There is an onsite laundry, WIFI, onsite dump station and propane refill station. You can also buy ice and firewood. The campground is gated. Lots to do at the campground and lots to do in the surrounding area. They welcome all furry friends!

We did 3 nights for memorial day weekend got one of the last 2 sites available. We arrived on a Friday around 4:30 pm in the rain and we had an escort to our campsite which was on top of the resort in the back. The guide helped me back in and start to get level on the muddy hill. I didn't have the correct supports or long enough hoses or cords. He went to get me a free to use for our stay, 30 amp extension and our neighbor lent us 50' of water hose. The second (more seasoned) guide helped me adjust the campsite. Moved the picnic table and then back in. He helped us get our rig level(getting down in the mud with us) and let us borrow the extra cinder blocks we needed. With 4 blocks and 6 3/4" plywood and full extension on the tongue we were level. Tipped $20 and he refused but we made him take it, since the great instructions on how to maneuver our rig and what we can do to set up would was well worth for the piece of mind for future trips. The campsite is AAA so ask for a discount 10%, the A class pull through sites were tight, there are a lot of full season campers(one mowed, weed-eater, leaf blower and sawed for 10 hours on a Saturday.) The pop up site had tow behinds our neighbor was at least 30' and they allow tents. 30 amp / H20 hook ups. The breaker has a light that stays on 24/7 (good when you need a light/bad when you wanna see some stars.) Our weather turned from a first rainy and below 60 first night to clear sky tons of sun 80+ day and night. The mud on the site was a nuisance but we countered with a few beers. *mud is harsh it was hard pack dirt /rock mix*(they would also bring mulch to cover really bad spots if needed.) We stayed next to the horse pasture and what a trip!!! They walk right up to the site fence and are gentle enough for kids to pet. No loss in power or water. Showers were exactly that camp showers with really hot water 5 minutes for a quarter. The place has a lot of nice amenities that we can't wait to go back and really take advantage of.(went during Covid everything was closed or just opening up) The positive from us as new Pop-Up Rv owners are too long to mention them all. ALMOST ZERO BUGS!!!!(heard the lake/primitive sites are terrible for bugs) its 1/2 mile from moraine boat launch, the staff are super friendly and help you and talked to us at the end of our stay like an old friend. The Negatives - our site was muddy and steep, long distance to hookups, roads are extremely tight during check in/ out, and for 2 additional people to come was $10/per person per day, the couple came on Saturday and still have to pay $10 each for Friday. If we would have planned we could have applied the AAA discount.(not sure if other people have people stop by when they're camping but its pretty normal for us)Takeaways: Sites in the back are unlevel, bring cinderblocks if you can. And, while the siteS in the back are great they are far from bathrooms/showers(thought there was a portopotty near by) and far from camp amenities. Sites in the front are more level and closer to amenities. Bottom line is - We will be going back to this campground every year that we can. We have heard mixed reviews and can understand how someone could be upset with this place. But we have been camping for years at terrible sites in water up to our ankles and bugs eating us alive. This place didn't have any of that

Laundry facility on site. The only negative is the whole park is on a hill, which, it being our first trip with our 37ft fifth wheel was terrifying. The full hook up site we had was what I'd call, stadium style levels. So the tilt of our trailer pulling in was scary, lol. Besides that everything was great!Tip: Wait at the gate till someone comes to help you find your site and park. You could lose an antennae on low branches if you have to circle around the park. Plus it's a hill!
