This is a really great campground. Sites are well spaced and the grounds are lovely and well maintained. Owners very friendly and the campground is in the middle of farm country in PA and it's very quiet here. Nice little brook runs behind certain sites. Owners very friendly and the campground is in the middle of farm country in PA and it's very quiet here. Nice little brook runs behind certain sites. Store is well stocked and it's just a well laid out facility. Campground offered good wifi access. Never needed to use my phone as a hot spot.

This is a family owned and operated campground. They do a great job of keeping the area well maintained and clean. The owners always go out of their way to accommodate everyone the best they can. They do a great job of keeping the area well maintained and clean. The owners always go out of their way to accommodate everyone the best they can. There is lots of stuff to do here for the kids along with some entertainment for adults. On holidays you can expect entertainment of some sort. It's also very close to Carlisle PA, Amish Farms, stores, and events.

Great stay tent camping with friends. They had all kinds of fabulous Halloween activities for the kids, and pulled them all off very well considering the numbers. Hay rides, pumpkin carving, etc. Cell service for ATT was great and staff were super friendly. Also nice big playground next to our site. Dogwood Acres Campground is just outside of Newville, PA in the middle of farmland. The owner gave us useful instructions how to get to the campground when we called for our reservation. There were also signs directing to campground so it was easy to find. It seems like there were a lot seasonal sites and cabins around with daily r...moreDogwood Acres Campground is just outside of Newville, PA in the middle of farmland. The owner gave us useful instructions how to get to the campground when we called for our reservation. There were also signs directing to campground so it was easy to find. It seems like there were a lot seasonal sites and cabins around with daily rentals in the middle of the campground. We stayed during the week so there weren't many other campers and it was quiet. We had a site with full hookups and cell service was great! There was a pool, freebee golf course and a large dog park! However, our favorite thing was hiking up to Flat Rock. The staff was very friendly and kind. We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again, but there wasn't much space between campsites so during a weekend it might be a bit crowded.
