It’s early in the season, so the campground is fairly empty, which was really nice. When I made the reservation, I was told that they would still be in the early phases of opening up the campground, the store wouldn’t be open much if at all, pools were closed, etc., so I knew what to expect when we arrived. Self check-in was simple, site was easy enough to find. Great view of the lake, peaceful and scenic. I’m not sure what it’s like here during peak season, but it was perfect for our needs these couple of days.
Much is very dated. Ok for 1 night.

No way to get dinner supplies and portable propane canister. Site appeared to be in older section near pool. One bathhouse, very dated. Toilet stalls had shower curtain for door. Hole in door large enough for all sorts of critters. Showers were very old and definitely need shower shoes and coins. FHU Site was fairly level with cable. Read a review about lots of iron in water so skipped hooking up water. Many of road ways had bad washout which tossed us around a bit. Wood was being split with noisy machine for over 3 hrs.
Great spot
