No playground. It’s located nicely for Montgomery activities like the zoo, but it’s not so nice been by a run down motel and an abandoned gas station. Also, a lot of homeless in the area. It does have a nice pavilion to have your kids play in out of the sun. We would stay again if we needed somewhere close to the interstate.

When they do it may be worth the $50 per night they are charging now before discounts, particularly for those who reviewed this place and were only spending the night before jumping back on I 65, which is very close. All the sites are conveniently pull through and have water, sewer and electric, as well as cable. Sites are fairly close together with no picnic tables. The restroom is large and clean. I did not hear noise from the road but we have the air conditioner running in summer heat. Until those changes are made, and perhaps afterwards, this is an expensive campground for an overnight stay. However, we didn’t use it that way. Montgomery has some extraordinary, new, must-see museums on the subject of slavery, racism, lynching, the birth of the civil rights movement and the freedom riders. Rosa Parks wouldn’t give up her seat here. Martin Luther King Jr was a 26-year-old preacher new to town whose soaring rhetoric helped lead the bus boycott here that led to the end of segregation on the bus line and creation of the civil rights movement. Everyone should experience those attractions and this is a very convenient location with friendly staff from which to do so (10 min away).

I would say this location was like a truck stop for RVs and campers. We got in at dark, set up, went to sleep, and got back on the road the next day. It looked like a lot of other campers did the same because a few other rigs were pulling in when we were setting up and were gone before we left the next day.The convenience of being by the highway also meant we could hear the highway and main road during the night. Our site was level with full hookups but I would say $52 I would expect a little more from the lot. We were basically on a gravel driveway close to our neighbors. I also was not too sure about the location. The front office had bars on the door, the businesses out front of the lot seems somewhat run down. It just did not give off a safe and secure feeling. Like is said before, this lot seemed more like a truck stop for RVs and campers. Fine for an overnight stay and move on, but not for $52.In defense of the campsite their website does say they are doing renovations and we did not go expose the lot. For the above listed reasons there was not much motivation, just and overnight stopping point that seemed high on price. Had the price been lower my review would be better, just really don’t see the justification for $52 a night.

Our ONE negative comment is that there is noise from surrounding area, which we blocked by leaving a fan running at night. This was Saturday night, so probably better on weekdays. Otherwise it is extremely nice, clean, concrete patios, good hookups, clean and accessible shower house, shelter house, playground. Level pull through sites with plenty of room to maneuver. No picnic tables, and management cautions you to use a water pressure regulator because they have high pressure. Close to highway. Free wifi.

I would not recommend as a destination or long-term stay. But it provided what we needed to get off the road and get a good nights sleep. The rate included full hook ups including cable TV. They do warn you at check-in that the water pressure is 100 psi and they recommend a regulator or filling up your water tanks if you do not have a regulator. Very close access to interstate 65 and Highway 80. I was concerned with the noise level but after dark it got quiet and I got a good nights sleep.Upon leaving there is no left-hand turn. You have to turn right and then go up a block and make a U-turn. Fortunately there is a nice gas station there so you can fill up your rig.

Well maintained, playground looked dated. Full hookups, and as others noted, high water pressure! The wifi is free and worked for what we needed with zero issues. No rugs allowed on grass. I could hear traffic noise while outside, but didn't bother me at night. No left turn allowed coming out of park to get back on highway so we turned right and then left into a gas station before we hit the road the next morning.

The park was clean and easy to get in and out of. The area is a bit difficult to navigate in a rig due to a funky median system. Lots of fast food around but it seems a lot if the gas stops have gone out of business. Full hookups at the sites which were all pull through. Definitely would stay overnight on a trip again.

Very clean and easy to get to right off of highway 65. We arrived after normal hours, but package was available for us at the front porch. Verizon signal was between one and two bars of signal. The main negative that made me give this only 3 stars was they allowed a long term resident to have a dog tied up outside all night. I could tell the campground allowed it because they had a fairly large dog house outside for the dog. The dog was barking all through the night. One big positive was the site size. We were able to fit our 40ft Class A, small trailer and a Jeep and still had room.

Big rig friendlyThe gentleman at the check in desk was great and the process was smoothFlat sites and the water pressure was as advertised - very highInternet access was the reason we stayed here and we spent more time connecting, reconnecting and waiting on pages than we did working. We got several error messages and availability was sporadic. I called the desk, but there wasn't much they could do. We were able to get on before 6 am, but once people were up it slowed to a snails pace. The park is in an industrial area which isnt bad, but when I went across the street to fuel up, I was approached by a 'professional'. It was good to see I still got it, but gas station call girls aren't really my thing. That is not the parks fault at all, but it made me be sure to check that all of our compartments were locked tightly

Our weekly cost with Good Sam discount was $201.25. There are daily and monthly prices available also. The park is just off of a major road. Outside of our unit I can hear the road noise, inside, not as clearly. At night the road noise was all but nonexistent. Interior roads and all of the sites are gravel. The sites are narrow but long, and there isn't that much room between them. It has been raining for several days and the park shows it. With the clay mixture in the soil, it doesn't drain well and there is standing water everywhere. The laundry and shower houses are in need of renovating. While clean, age and stains make them appear dirtier than they actually are, and there is a smell in the laundry room that is reminiscent of some of my desert deployments. For those doing laundry, it is $1.50 per wash, and $1.50 per dry. While I pointed out a few negatives, the park is perfectly acceptable. They have full hook ups and cable, and for those that only do over the air, there are many channels available.

The rear 4 rows are more long-term tenants (though no permanent residents) and the front 3 are mainly for transients. For the size of the campground, it is surprisingly quiet. You can hear I-65 when outside but even with busy route 80 in front, there is no noticeable noise inside. Many big-rigs (class A and 5th wheels) come and go every day but it never seems congested. The office staff runs things very efficiently, are great about receiving and organizing mail and packages, and answering questions. There are large grassy areas on all sides for walking the dogs and a big pond in the back. The laundry and shower house is well maintained (wash/dry $1.50 each). A dumpster, propane, and very basic dump station are right at the entrance. A small playground and pavilion are available. Camp WiFi is pretty typical - comes and goes and not fast enough for streaming, but cell signals are robust. My rate reflects a daily breakdown of the monthly rate. Route 80 was being resurfaced during my entire stay but only presented an occasional inconvenience when entering or departing the park. It should be very nice when completed.
