Very classic KOA. All the amenities are in good condition but campsites very close one to each other.

  • We stayed for one night as a stop over but look forward to going again.

For those with kids the inflatable bounce thing, two slides and some swings were very nice to have. There were other options for older kids than ours. There is a small lake where we saw people fishing and a paddle boat. It is close to the town of Erie. We took a 15 minute drive Avonia beach which was on the smaller side but very nice and easy to get to.They sell propane, ice, and cold drinks along with other items in their general store. The campground was very clean but the sites are on the smaller side. It was easy to get to power, water, sewer, and cable. The wifi was very slow but the cellular coverage was pretty good. My speed tests were 3Mbps/2Mbps on WiFi, ATT 56Mbps/17Mbps, VZW 65Mbps/4Mbps

  • Nice campground

Very nice campground! Nice pool and play area for kids. Verizon signal ranged from 2 bars LTE to 3G. The WiFi signal could be better. I know, I know - I’m camping and need to unplug. Well, it’s 2019 and would like to keep connected at night after kids are asleep and I’m laying in bed. About a 15-20 minute drive to the entrance of Presque Isle whether you take I-79 or stay on 832. Very friendly and engaged staff.
