The campground is right off I78, so the location is great for a quick stop. It's very clean, safe, and quiet. Some beautiful views of the rolling hills. There really isn't much of anything in the area except a fantastic winery, Folino Estate, just a few yards past the campground. Very few kids here because there are very few amenities, but we are empty nesters so it worked great for us. HUGE rolling field for kite flying or even letting the dog run. The big problem for us is the gravel roads in the campground were extremely dusty and everything outside was covered in dust every day. Beautiful weather there in July, but we couldn't put the jeep top down b/c of the dust. It was so bad that I took the dog for a short walk and my ankle above my sock was black. That being said, it's a minor issue. We will definitely be going back next year. DeMarco's pizza nearby was excellent. We were not at all impressed with Spectator's Bar & Grille which is the only pub/restaurant near by.

We came here for one night it was perfect for a stop over. The kids loved it there was a big field for running and a cute little playground. The site was level and full hook ups. There was also a trick or treat activity the night we were there. Easy to get to nice service with a small camp store.

As described in other reviews, this is a no-frills campground. You need to understand that whichever site you get is the one that you will have to remain in for your stay. Even if a better suited site is available, you cannot change. Unfortunately, we were placed in a nonlevel, non satellite friendly site(granted, there are few that will allow reception.) The bathroom/showers are sketchy(bring shower footwear) and be ready for a cold shower. If you travel with a four legged camper, be aware-ticks are rampant in the grasses here. Our four legged camper is on flea/tick medication but we often had to use a comb to remove the ones that were just “traveling “ on his coat.In the plus side, every camper we met was friendly. And we were able to make some all day trips from this area. Just be aware of what you are getting for your$. And clarify exactly what site you want if you have a big rig. We likely would have had a more positive experience if we were shorter than 42 ft.

  • Decent location to multiple activities but not anything special as far as RV parks go

The bathroom is a bit of a hike from the back of the park and the trash is also located by the bathroom so neither are very convenient. There were small trash cans for doggie bags so at least there's that. The sites are level and crushed gravel.Besides walking around the park, there are no hiking or biking trails. The sites were pretty close together with a bit of a parking lot feel but not super small. There was enough room to sit out and enjoy yourself. The staff that checked us in was friendly but there's a full time worker here that rides around on his lawn mower or golf cart all day. He literally did a drive by through our site with his mower while we were sitting there trying to enjoy a beer. He went back and forth multiple times, kicking up grass on us, missed the dogs by about 6 inches. It was rude and completely uncalled for.50 amp FHU was strong with excellent cable channels. The wifi was actually usable and remained reliable throughout our stay regardless of what time of day it was. They have washers and dryers inside the bathroom which is very odd. We chose to use a nearby laundromat called Trexler and it was really nice.Hot spots were also good. Verizon at 28d/l and ATT at 40 d/l unboosted.

We stayed here mostly due to location. This is a nice treed RV park, full hook ups plus cable. Many pull thru sites. Level gravel sites. Laundry and store at office. Not a vacation destination, no pool and bordered by two highways. Also horse farm " aroma" on occasion. It is now our desired campground to stay at when visiting with family and friends in western and central New Jersey or for an overnight stop when traveling through the area. The park is pretty, a very convenient on/off from Route 78, and the owners are nice. Although we wish the owners would more regularly trim their trees (and/or trim them higher) we have found a site that will best works for our RV's height (13' 4"). The owners nicely allowed us to trim some tree branches, to help our exit from the park during a prior visit, when our desired site was booked. You do hear some traffic noise from route 78 when outside, but it does not bother us inside the RV. The park offers seasonal activities (e.g., we stayed there during their Halloween weekends), although we did not participate it looked like everyone who did, thoroughly enjoyed themselves (RVs were elaborately decorated and many people where in costumes and there were activities at the community building). I would recommend the campground, particularly for anyone who owns a slightly shorter, in height, RV than ours. The pull-through sites are long. The $48 rate is for a one-night stay; they offer a weekly discount (pay for 6 nights and receive the 7th night free).

Friendly staff, pretty level sites, good power water and Wi-Fi, good shade. I didn't like the laundry setup in the bathrooms. I didn't like the laundry setup in the bathrooms. They should fence in a area for pets in the large grassy area available for walking pets. There was steady noise from highway 78 but not bad. We stayed 9 days and got a weekly rate for 7 but full charge for the extra 2. Would have been a nice thing to have the rate averaged out for the 2 extra instead of getting hit full daily rate. Some parks do it. We would stay here again but not for a long stretch like this time. But it is a nice clean park. I would give this park a slightly lower rating on the West Coast.
