Beautiful wooded site, gravel, fairly level. Trees/woods behind us, but open in the front so it's not dark. Nice pools, bonus that one is adults only. The owners are sweet. Everyone is very friendly. Definitely would come again.
Eh.... It's OK

This place is OK. The facilities are fine. Old, but fine. The pool was freezing the last summer we were here. Too cold to swim in comfortably, and the paint is peeling off the bottom. The bathrooms are old and the paint is peeling. We have stayed here twice. The staff is small and seemed overwhelmed both times we were here. They were nice to us this time, but our first time here the staff were very cold and unwelcoming. This time they tried to put us in a site we would not have fit in, next to the road. We have two very small children and it was our first time out in our new rig. We asked to be moved and they did not have an issue with that. We paid $40 for fire wood and they gave us soaking wet wood, which made for a smokey, hard to keep lit campfire. The noise levels were good and the people there were considerate. There are a lot of seasonals here. The lake is difficult to find and requires you to travel through a disc golf course and down steep hills to get to it. Once there, after being nailed by a few rouge discs, it is very beautiful. The sites are wide, level and serene. We had great cell service with TMobile. We'll probably stay again because it's close and easy, but for this price, if something else is available we will stay somewhere else.
