It appears that to work here you have tell members everything you want to here, but then again, nothing is the truth. Now that they have over sold memberships your lucky to get a site. Rumors say that the move money they save corporation theirs bonuses are given out. Don’t waste your money on this place.

Sites are tight the fire pit to close to me and my neighbor unless I want to light us both up. I would rather be in south but full on the weekends. South has more accommodations for larger rigs. I am basically starting here because my family lives not too far away.

  • Too late in the year

Even though I was there October 5-10 the park was already in off-season mode. The office and store were only opened Friday-Sunday so if you needed anything; package pickup, store items, office assistance, quarters for the washer/dryer etc., you have to go to the South park. Also the bathrooms, laundry room (filthy floor, if you drop laundry you'll want to just toss it), roads, etc were not maintained either. If it's late in the season, just go to the South park if you want to stay.Having said that, the spots were mostly level, most of the main roads were blacktop, spots were gravel or dirt. There were lots of hills in the park for walking for exercise or with a pet. Park was pretty empty in October so it was very quiet. Far enough from the road to avoid traffic noises too. The pool looked nice. All Timothy Lake South amenities are available members of both parks. I would only stay here if TL South was sold out.

  • Tough to get to, good spots, nice amenities, access to 2 RV parks for use

The people at Timothy Lake told us the address showing up online does not create the best navigation and I believe them. Do your research up front to get here. There are some smaller roads but we did not find anything impossible to get past if you just know the roads to drive on, so you do not end up in a back road or private street.Once we got there we were quite surprised. We came after the end of swimming season but we can see the pools and area were really nice. This is actually made up of South and North which are 2 RV parks about 1 mile apart. Originally our reservation was at North but they said in off season only South office was open and it turned out to have some larger sites and more people around anyway. We did visit North a few times because of larger playground for the kids.Site were first come first served and we got a nice pull through spot. Not the most level site (and many were not) but we made it work. Full hookups and 50amp power without any up charge was nice as well.At South the playground was a bit smaller but kids still liked it. Paved roads made it easier to ride bikes around and lots of people around to talk with and hang out with. Had a small but nice "kids zone" in the front building with coloring, etc. On the Halloween weekend they had activities (our kids were the only ones there, but it was nice that things were scheduled and actually happened). They did have a paid wifi service but even with a few bars on 4G we were able to get along without using it so I cannot comment on the quality.Location was about 30 minutes from Stroudsburg and maybe only the first 10-15 minutes of that to refuel and get groceries. We would recommend this RV park for sure, just make sure you know how to get there.
