The drive in is beautiful and quite residential. When we arrived, we had to call a number so someone could meet us up front and check us in. They take cash or check only, and as I was writing the check for the $30/night rate, the woman asked what time we were leaving. She said we could either pay an additional dollar and we could leave whenever we wanted or we would have to wait around and get our meter read. For a one night stay, this seemed odd to us. Why not just build electricity into the price and make the nightly rate $31?Aside from that being weird, the woman who checked us in was quite friendly. She invited us to the vegetable soup dinner they were having that night and led us to our choice of sites.The site was full-hookups on grass and there weren't any other campers too close to our spot. There are a lot of seasonal campers here, all who are very friendly. Two of which also invited us to the veggie soup dinner.Cell service without a booster is non-existent here.
