While the couple who manage this campground for the owners were very nice, the campground leaves A LOT to be desired. The roads are in desperate repair thus driving an RV or RV you tow can be challenging to say the least. Lots of ruts, potholes and narrow roads. We were assigned a pull-through site (we reserved prior to seeing the campground) which we thought would be a piece of cake. We spent about 2 hours moving our Class C every which way in order to get it level. We have an automatic leveling system which continually overextended the RV so much that at least 2 tires were way off the ground each time. We asked to be moved. That was not allowed even though there were many empty spots. We continued to try leveling and eventually busted a hydraulic line trying. That was the icing on the cake. We said we were leaving (we did not even spend one night there) and were fortunate enough to find a camping site for 5 nights in Intercourse, PA which was 100% times better. I told the woman that she needed to be a bit more accommodating to RVers as we know our rigs. The man said, they'd had lots of RVs on that site so he didn't know what "we" were doing wrong. We are not newbies at this! We did nothing wrong. The campground is down a long, very windy road so if you plan to go sightseeing you'll have quite a drive to get to the sights in Lancaster County. The couple, however, did contact the owner and the owner did reimburse us for our stay minus the one night. We were very happy with that and greatly appreciate it as well since it costs us quite a bit to get the hydraulic line fixed, which we did during our stay in Lancaster. If you have a small camper, tear-drop, A-liner, R-pod type or a tent, you'd be fine here. There are also some hikes in the nearby area as we did go to one in that area one day. Just a warning to those reading this about the roads and uneven sites.
