Timber Valley is a large SKP RV park with over 200 spacious full hook-up sites and a huge boondocking area. I called the office to ask about available spaces and was happy to learn open spots are all first come/first served. The office was closed on Saturday, 3/26, when we arrived but they have a super slick system for after-hours arrivals. Each open spot had an envelope with the space number on it, a registration form, map, wifi password, and other important details. We looked at the map, located the available sites and picked an end site next to the trail system. We only had two days there but it’s another place that we’ll happily add to our “must do again” list. Each site has a concrete patio to park next to, sites are gravel and have full-hookups w/50 amp. There is a dump station and bins for trash and recycling. The club house has exercise equipment, library, card room, laundry, restrooms, etc. They also have an abundance of TURKEYS. They were flocks of 20 or so strutting around, gobbling and generally being entertaining. Dinner and a show? Lol. We also saw deer next to our campsite. We enjoyed the 2-mile nature trail and off-leash dog park. Folks are very friendly and the Welcome Wagon came by with additional information and to ask if we had any questions. We had 2 bars of Verizon 4G and they had wifi which worked well. Note: You must be an Escapee member to stay in the park.
