The campground is quiet, well shaded, easily accessible before getting to Sumpter. The welcome packet has a good summary of Sumpter’s history and things to do around the area. It is a good campground for hunters, ATV’ers, and outdoor enthusiasts. Though the restrooms were closed, the grounds are well kept. By evening all the campsites around us were filled. Due to the pines’ shade, the high 90’s temps were not oppressive and sitting out was enjoyable. No mosquitoes!!! Location: Off the beaten path, but easily accessed from main drag into Sumpter.Cleanliness: would have given 5 stars, if I could have seen the restrooms, which I would assume are as neat as the rest of the property is. The grounds are dusty from the lack of paving. Site quality: Shaded, adequately spaced, most level, utilities good.Noise: all campers were very considerate of each other.WiFi: reliable, good and fast!
